    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining method capable of obtaining the consistent quality of a joined part and joining large metallic members of complicated shapes with each other even when two metallic members having different melting points overlap each other and are joined with each other.
      SOLUTION: In the joining method of metallic members, a plurality of metallic members (an aluminum member 1, a copper member 2) are arranged in an overlapping manner in the order of the higher melting point. By moving a circumferential face of a tool body 3a of a disk-shaped joining tool 3 rotating in the circumferential direction along a surface 2a of the metallic member (the copper member 2) while press-inserting the circumferential surface of the tool body into the surface 2a of the metallic member (the copper member 2) of the highest melting point out of the metallic members at the overlapped portion, the plurality of metallic members (the aluminum member 1, the copper member 2) are joined with each other.
