    • PURPOSE:To improve response to a large extent, by the constitution wherein a heat transfer heater and the contact part of a temperature dependent resistors and a supporting body are coated or separated from air. CONSTITUTION:An electric heater 1 and first and second temperature dependent resistors 3 and 2 are connected to an electric circuit. A bridge is formed by the temperature dependent resistors 3 and 2 and two fixed resistors 9 and 10. Since the first temperature dependent resistors 3 is subject to the effect of the heater 1, the balance of the bridge is lost. The electric circuit always applies a current to the heater so that the amount of unbalance becomes constant. With this current as an output, the amount of air is measured. An electric insulator 6 is provided so that a contact part 5 of a supporting body 4 and a platinum resistor wire is coated or separated from the flow of the air. Thus, the temperature change at the contact part of the supporting body and the platinum resistor wire can be meade small, and the response can be improved to a large extent.
