    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile construction method and equipment therefor which enable a pile to be efficiently constructed while excavated soil is discharged, and which enhance a load bearing capacity by the possession of a pile base.
      SOLUTION: An auger screw 4 is inserted into a hollow pile 7 whose lower end is provided with a flange 8; a detachable excavating head 9 is coupled to the lower end of a rod 12 by means of an engaging protrusion 17 and a protrusion 16; and the hollow pile 7 which is held in a sandwiched state by a chucking member 6 is pressed into the ground so that an interval between the flange 8 and the excavating head 9 can be kept constant. The excavated soil can be discharged to the outside from the upper end of the hollow pile 7 by ascending in the hollow pile 7. The excavating head 9 can be left behind on the inner bottom of an underground hole, and integrated with the flange 8 so as to constitute a reinforcing member for forming a pile base at the lower end of the hollow pile 7.
