    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely pull out an existing pile when it is damaged, destroyed or ruptured. SOLUTION: This cylindrical casing for pulling out the existing pile has an excavating claw at a lower edge, and has an inside diameter larger than an outside diameter of the existing pile to be pulled out. In the casing, the plurality of claws are provided at regular spaces in a circumferential direction among them on a peripheral wall near a lower end of the casing. Each of the claws is journaled in such a manner as to be swingable between a position to be brought about almost along the peripheral wall of the casing by earth pressure in the casing during the normal rotation of the casing, and a position to be raised almost in a centripetal direction by the earth pressure in the casing during the reverse rotation of the casing. Additionally, each of the claws has a length which is set so that the claw in the position to be raised in the centripetal direction can be locked to a lower end of the existing pile when the casing is jacked into the outer periphery of the existing pile. CONSTITUTION:An auger 2 is inserted into a concrete pile 1, and an excavation device 3 is mounted to the lower end thereof and is settled into the ground 11. At that time, most part of excavated moving earth is consolidated in a hollow hole of the pile 1. After that, the lower end of the pile 1 is made to reach a bearing layer 12, and a diameter of a wing 4 is widened to excavate a forming section of a bulb 13. Cement milk is injected to construct the bulb 13. Then, the force-fit of the lower end of the pile 1 is made. According to the constitution, the pile having strong bearing force can be quickly executed with one continuous stage of work.

      SOLUTION: An auger screw 4 is inserted into a hollow pile 7 whose lower end is provided with a flange 8; a detachable excavating head 9 is coupled to the lower end of a rod 12 by means of an engaging protrusion 17 and a protrusion 16; and the hollow pile 7 which is held in a sandwiched state by a chucking member 6 is pressed into the ground so that an interval between the flange 8 and the excavating head 9 can be kept constant. The excavated soil can be discharged to the outside from the upper end of the hollow pile 7 by ascending in the hollow pile 7. The excavating head 9 can be left behind on the inner bottom of an underground hole, and integrated with the flange 8 so as to constitute a reinforcing member for forming a pile base at the lower end of the hollow pile 7.
