    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver adaptive to HSDPA which reduces the circuit scale, the process time and the power consumption.
      SOLUTION: The receiver comprises a memory for temporarily storing information bits and first and second check bits, a first rate dematching unit for applying a first rate dematch process to the first and second check bits, a memory group for hold the first-rate-dematched first and second check bits to be outputted at a specified timing, a decoder for decoding received data to reproduce using the first and second check bits, a switch for feeding the decoder with the information bits outputted from the memory and the first rate dematching unit with the first and second check bits, and a controller for controlling the operations of the memory, the first rate dematching unit, the memory group and the switch.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile wireless communication terminal device and a memory managing method that can realize a MAC-hs buffer and an RLC buffer with physically one memory when packet data in MAC-hs PDU units are stored in the MAC-hs buffer and suppress an increase in memory capacity without using any complicated memory control method. SOLUTION: A MAC-hs processor 101 separates the inputted packet data in MAC-hs PDU units into packet data in RLC and PDU units and outputs them to a common memory controller 102 together with sequence numbers. A common memory 103 is physically one memory functioning as the MAC-hs buffer and RLC buffer. The common memory controller 102 previously allocates memory addresses of the common memory 103 in RLC and PDU units and writes the packet data in the RLC and PDU units inputted from the MAC-hs processor 101 to corresponding memory addresses of the common memory 103.       SOLUTION: When an HS-SCCH code processing section 201 of the mobil station succeeds in decoding an HS-SCCH, an HSDPA control section 101 calculates a decode failure probability of an HS-PDSCH during the reception on the basis of a present propagation path state and a transmission rate of the HS-PDSCH during the reception, determines number of repetitive turbo decoding times applied to the HS-PDSCH during the reception by an HS-PDSCH decode processing section 401 depending on the probability, and when the probability is judged that decoding is failed even a maximum number of repetitive turbo decoding times, decode processing by a turbo decoder is given up and the decoding is stopped up to a HARQ composite processing.
