    • PURPOSE:To prevent a program medium from being destroyed by providing a means executing copying only when a key word on a medium is other than the own key and a copying means copying required number of paid programs and disabling the copy of the copy program itself. CONSTITUTION:In applying copying, a servo mechanism 8 is used, a write/read head 7 is positioned onto the 78-th track, a read circuit 10 is utilized to read a key word. After the coincidence between the key word and the own key word is confirmed, the counter on the 78-th track is read succeedingly and when the count is zero, the copying is interrupted while regarding the further copying is disabled. When the copy program applies the actual copying, a key word of a paid program master 102 is read by the same operation. The key word is compared with the own key word and other than the own key word, a data of the program master 102 sequentially and copied onto a medium 103 sequentially. Thus, the user can make a backup medium in preparation for destruction of the medium.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the wrong use of a program due to copying by generating a floppy disc (FD) where information is stored in a specific address with a format other than that of the other addresses. CONSTITUTION:A microprocessor 21 supplies an instruction, which writes information in the format of 256 bytes/sector, to an FD controller 23 to operate a 256-byte writing part 25 of an FD device 24, and information is written in the format of 256 bytes/sector. A 1,024-byte writing part 26 is operated for only the 38th track for the purpose of writing information on the 38th track in the format of 1,024 bytes/sector. At a read time, a microprocessor 31 instructs an FD controller 35 to read each sector of the 38th track in the format of 1,024 bytes/sector after all tracks are read completely by a 256-byte reading part 35. Only the program of the FD where information in the format of 1,024 bytes/ sector is stored normally can be executed.
