    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat storage type deodorizing apparatus wherein pressure loss of exhaust gas exhausted through a second flow passage to the outside is suppressed to suppress the rise of internal pressure in the second flow passage and on a plurality of ventilation passages whereby processing gas is prevented from leaking from communication positions between the second flow passage and the vent passages into a heat exchanger chamber without raising power of a sealing fan. SOLUTION: A first flow passage 21 is formed for introducing treatment object gas G into a combustion chamber 1 together with a second flow passage 22 formed for exhausting exhaust g from the combustion chamber 1 to the outside, and a plurality of ventilation passages 2a each filled with a heat storage material 2C are formed in parallel peripherally and heat is stored by passing the exhaust gas g through the second flow passage 22 while heat is stored by passing the object gas G through the first flow passage 21, and further the heat storage structure 2C preheated with the stored heat is constructed rotatably around the axis of a rotary shaft. In the apparatus, a flow passage cross section that forms the second flow passage 22 is formed larger than a flow passage cross section that forms the first flow passage 21.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regenerative deodorizing device to perform reliable and efficient thermal decomposition treatment of gas to be treated. SOLUTION: This deodorizing device comprises a combustion chamber 1 to perform thermal decomposition of a smell component in gas G to be treated; a preheat part 3 to effect preheat of the gas G to be treated fed to the combustion chamber 1; and a cooling part 4 to cool combustion exhaust gas (g) discharged from the combustion chamber 1. Positions of heat storage bodies 2 are alternately changed from and to the preheat part 3 and the cooling part 4 and cooling is carried out in a way that the heat storage body 2 is positioned at the cooling part 4 and the holding heat of the combustion exhaust gas (g) is absorbed. Preheat is executed by positioning the heat storage body 2 in the preheat part 3 and discharging heat, absorbed by the heat storage body 2 during cooling, to the gas G to be treated. In a so formed deodorizing device, the heat storage body 2 consists of a heat storage body 2A formed of a metal and a heat storage body 2B made of ceramics, and in both the positions of the preheat part 3 and the cooling part 4, the heat storage body 2B formed of ceramics is situated in a manner to be positioned closer to the combustion chamber 1 than the heat storage body 2A formed of the metal.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat storage type deodorizing device, restricting the rising of an inner pressure by restricting a resistance due to a pressure loss in the air passage of high temperature side to conduct gas, transmitted from low temperature side toward high temperature side, so as to flow smoothly without being precluded and capable of preventing the leakage of gas from the communicating place between a first flow passage and an air passage to a second flow passage into a heat exchanger room without increasing the power of a seal fan. SOLUTION: The heat storage type deodorizing device is provided with a plurality of air passages 2a, filled with heat storage material 2C and formed in parallel in the circumferential direction, and a heat storage body 2, constituted so as to be rotatable by driving so that exhaust gas passing condition for storing heat by exhaust gas from a combustion chamber is changed into treated gas passing condition and that the treated gas passing condition for preheating the passing treated gas is changed into the exhaust gas passing condition. In such a deodorizing device, respective flow passage sectional areas in the air passage 2a filled with the heat storage material 2C are formed so that the same areas are increased as the sections are approached to the high temperature side.
