摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regenerative deodorizing device to perform proper and efficient thermal decomposition treatment of gas to be treated. SOLUTION: This deodorizing device comprises a combustion chamber 1 to perform thermal decomposition of a smell component in gas G to be treated; a preheat part 3 to preheat the gas G to be treated fed in the combustion chamber 1; and a cooling part 4 to cool combustion exhaust gas (g) discharged from the combustion chamber 1. Positions of heat storage material 2 are alternately hanged from and to the preheat part 3 and the cooling part 4, the heat storage material 2 is positioned at the cooling part 4 and cooling is carried out by absorbing heat held by combustion exhaust gas (g). The heat storage material 2 is positioned at the preheat part 3 and preheat is executed by discharging heat, absorbed by the heat storage material 2 during cooling, to the gas G to be treated. In a so formed deodorizing device, in addition to a feed passage 12A to feed the gas G to be treated to the combustion chamber 1 through the preheat part 3, a bypass passage 22 is provided to feed the gas G to be treated to the combustion chamber 1 without the passage of it through the preheat part 3.

SOLUTION: This deodorizing device comprises a combustion chamber 1 to perform thermal decomposition of a smell component in gas G to be treated; a preheat part 3 to effect preheat of the gas G to be treated fed to the combustion chamber 1; and a cooling part 4 to cool combustion exhaust gas (g) discharged from the combustion chamber 1. Positions of heat storage bodies 2 are alternately changed from and to the preheat part 3 and the cooling part 4 and cooling is carried out in a way that the heat storage body 2 is positioned at the cooling part 4 and the holding heat of the combustion exhaust gas (g) is absorbed. Preheat is executed by positioning the heat storage body 2 in the preheat part 3 and discharging heat, absorbed by the heat storage body 2 during cooling, to the gas G to be treated. In a so formed deodorizing device, the heat storage body 2 consists of a heat storage body 2A formed of a metal and a heat storage body 2B made of ceramics, and in both the positions of the preheat part 3 and the cooling part 4, the heat storage body 2B formed of ceramics is situated in a manner to be positioned closer to the combustion chamber 1 than the heat storage body 2A formed of the metal.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the burnout or the like of a device due to ignition upon removing soot in exhaust gas with an inexpensive device, by a method wherein an exhaust gas purifying device for removing and purifying soot and smell contained in exhaust gas from an engine is provided with a combustion burner for blowing flame into a gas flow passage, through which the exhaust gas flows. SOLUTION: A gas flow passage 2 for introducing exhaust gas is provided with a U-turn passage 3 to remove soot and smell contained in the exhaust gas of an engine while a combustion burner 5 for blowing flame into the gas flow passage 2 is provided near the exhaust gas introducing port 4 of the gas flow passage 2. On the other hand, a combustible gas supplying means 6 and a turbulent flow generating body 7 for generating turbulent flow in air flow in the gas flow passage 2 are provided at the downstream side of the combustion burner 5. Further, an SOx removing means 8 is provided at the downstream side of the gas flow passage 2 while the exhaust gas, discharged out of the gas flow passage 2, is cooled by a cooling mechanism 13 provided near the lead-out port 12 of the exhaust gas. Soot in the exhaust gas is burnt while smelly gas in the exhaust gas is decomposed thermally by the combustion burner 5.
