    • PURPOSE: To repeatedly perform the precision flow measurement with high reliability, by using only two pairs of ultrasonic emitter sensors. CONSTITUTION: The pairs of emitter sensors 17, 18 are coaxially included in a straight measuring tube 1 of which the section is uniformly reduced from an inlet 7, in a fluid flow meter controller, and the inlet 7 is a symmetric ring radial extension body around a tube axial line 8. A grid 9 of ring structure, giving the resistance increasing from an external end 11 to an inner end 12, to the passage of the fluid to be tested, is connected with a measurement tube 1 through a ring inlet duct 13 curved in the shape of circular arc 14 of which the section is uniformly decreased. The inlet duct 13 comprises a baffle fairing 15 of a substantially conical extension body corresponding to the tube axial line 8, and a tube outlet 1" comprises an axial flow baffle body 23 for carrying the fluid into a ring duct 24 of which the section is decreased. An outlet port of the duct 25 can be closed by a valve member 25 movable the measurement tube axial line 8, by an operating means 34.

    • PURPOSE: To efficiently recover the vaporized substance in safety by continuously measuring the effective concentration of a mixture, and comparing the same with at laest one threshold value indicating that a mixture is explosive for momently adjusting a rotating speed of a positive displacement pump actuating on a return pipe. CONSTITUTION: A pump actuating on a return pipe 31 is a positive displacement pump 21, and a motor 36 of this pump is controlled by a means for momently adjusting its rotating speed as the function of the delivery capacity of the supplied fuel. On this occasion, the effective concentration of the mixture is continuously measured in consideration of the quantity of excess air depending on the pressure difference, the temperature of an underground tank, and the temperature of vapor-air mixture to be compared with at least one threshold value indicating that the air is very rare and the mixture is explosive by a logical unit 14. Whereby the vaporized substance can be efficiently recovered in safety without using a system for recovering the vapor in safety, particularly a bellows type sealing element, and without the possibility of explosion and the undesired pressurization of the underground tank.

    • PURPOSE: To improve the reliability, preciseness, and economicity of a controller for pneumatic valve actuator by connecting the output of an operating block expressed by a prescribed formula to a block which calculates the pressure of a valve member and providing a means which detects the movement stop of the valve member and another means which detects serious operation abnormality and the degree of wear of a seal member. CONSTITUTION: In a transit memory, stored values are added to and change the values stored in operating blocks 20, 21, and 22. The outputs 17', 18', and 19' of the blocks 20, 21, and 22 are connected to a calculating block 23 and the block 23 decides the pressure value at a specific position of a valve member 2 from formula I. In the formula, Pm, Pe, and Pa respectively represent the pressure applied from a reaction spring, the pressure caused by a reverse thrust, and a frictional pressure. A logic control unit 32 switches the blocks 20, 21, and 22 whenever the valve member 2 is stopped by means of a sensor 36 which detects the positional change of the member 2. The output 30 of a differentiator 27 which detects serious operation abnormality is connected to a comparator 39 and the wear of a valve seal member is detected by means of an integrator 42.
