    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position detector which eliminates the need for providing a memory for storing correction data for each actuator.SOLUTION: A resolver 2 outputs rotation positional information of a motor 1 as an electric signal and transmits the electric signal to a resolver digital converter 6 of a position detector 4 by an electric cable 3. It is not necessary to provide a memory for storing correction data for each motor 1 provided with the resolver 2 since the resolver digital converter 6 detects the rotation positional information of the motor 1 from the electric signal, and an arithmetic device 8 corrects the detected rotation positional information of the motor 1 on the basis of the information of the electric cable stored in the memory 7. By storing accuracy error information caused by impedance difference with respect to a length of the electric cable 3 as information of the electric cable, the positional information of the rotation position of the motor 1 to be detected by the resolver 2 can be accurately corrected.
