The quantity of actually discharged hot water (x) is measured by a water-quantity sensor 22 every time automatic discharge is completed, and x+alpha obtained by adding a predetermined fixed quantity alphato the quantity (x) is set and stored as the quantity of discharge abnormal monitor X. When current discharge is conducted, the quantity of discharge is detected by the water-quantity sensor 22, and compared with the maximum dischargeable quantity Y or the quantity of discharge abnormal monitor X, the quantity of discharge is decided as abnormality when it exceeds either one of Y or X, discharge is stopped, and the flowing of the waste quantity of water is prevented. The maximum dischargeable quantity Y is used as a reference normally at the time of fire discharge.

    • PURPOSE:To permit the correct feed forward control of the amount of actual combustion heat with respect to the amount of required necessary combustion heat by a method wherein the relative position of a fuel injection nozzle is controlled with respect to the amount of required necessary combustion heat. CONSTITUTION:Relations among the relative position of a nozzle 2, the temperature of fuel oil and the amount of combustion heat are obtained previously about a multitude of points while the relations are stored in the microcomputer of a controller 14. A point of relation, having a combination near the combination of the amount of necessary combustion heat and an oil temperature obtained from an oil temperature sensor 15, is selected among memories, then, the relative position of the nozzle 2, which is corresponding to the objective combination of the amount of necessary combustion heat and an oil temperature, is operated from one or plurality of points of relation while the feed-forward movement of the nozzle 2 is effected based on the operational value. According to this method, the feed-forward control of the amount of combustion heat can be effected correctly with respect to the amount of required necessary combustion heat.

    • PURPOSE:To supply desired hot water surely, by finding the required amount of movement of a control valve per unit output-number, on the basis of the relation between the amount of the movement at the time when the control valve is shifted until a first output-number reaches a second output-number, and the variation of these output- numbers. CONSTITUTION:Each position of a control valve corresponding to a first and a second output-numbers is previously detected and stored. On the other hand, the required amount of movement of the control valve per unit output-number, which amount is found by the amount of the movement at the time when the control valve is shifted until the first output number reaches the second output-number, is previously stored. In the case where a hot water-supplying apparatus is used after that, hereby, when a hot-water supply temperature desired is preset, the output-number required is operated by a control part 30, on the basis thereof. As the result of it, the position of the control valve, at which position the hot-water supply temperature desired can be obtained, is operated with both two positions thereof and the required amount of the movement thereof per unit output-number, which are respectively stored previously. Under such a manner, hot water can be accurately supplied, even if each of these hot water- supplying apparatus is not uniform in the quality of its production or the like.

CONSTITUTION:A safety device for an oil burner is provided with a controller 3 on a main frame side comprising a microcomputer 3A on a main frame side and remote controllers ranging from 4 to 6 which have a microcomputer 2 on a remote controller side. The remote control side microcomputer 2 detects occurrence of momentary suspension from an unfeasible state of external interruption while the main frame side microcomputer 3A detects the occurrence of momentary suspension based on the information whether or not data reception on the main frame side is abnormal. Since the main frame side microcomputer 3A has a longer data holding time from the generation of spontaneous suspension, this construction makes it possible to hold safety operating status or suspension status which prevents the start of recombustion.

CONSTITUTION: When an indoor heat exchanger temperature Th detected by a heat exchanger temperature detecting thermistor is a freezing preventing control start temperature T0 (e.g. 10 deg.C) set beforehand or below and when a predetermined set time (t) (e.g. two hours) or a time longer than it passes after a compressor stops, a hot water valve is opened and a heat source machine (including a circulating pump) is started. While the circulating pump is turned ON, in other words, combustion of a hot water producing part of the heat source machine is turned ON and thereby a freezing preventing operation is started. Herein the freezing preventing control start temperature T0 is set at a value (e.g. 10 deg.C) lower than a cooling set temperature Ts . Freezing of a hot water circulation circuit can be prevented reliably without conducting an unnecessary freezing preventing operation.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a positive prevention of freezing in a device by a method wherein when an environmental temperature is lower than a specified value, a freezing prevention automatic switch is turned on, a freezing prevention heater is turned on and then a circulation pump is turned on under a condition in which there is an abnormal circulation in bath and bath tub water or an abnormal sensing of bath temperature. CONSTITUTION:When an environmental temperature is decreased and a freezing prevention automatic operation switch 37 is turned on, a controller 60 turns on a freezing prevention heater 38 with this signal to start heating of a circulation passage. The controller 60 further checks if a bath furnace 10 is in a safe operation under a well-operating state or not and if the safe operation is assured, the circulation pump 32 is turned on. If the safe operation is not carried out and the bath automatic temperature keeping operation switch is not turned on, the circulation pump 32 is turned on. If the bath automatic temperature keeping operation switch is turned on, in principle, the bath automatic temperature keeping operation is preferentially carried out. When an abnormal circulation of the bath tub water is detected and an abnormal detection of the bath temperature is carried out, the circulation pump 32 is turned on.
