    • PURPOSE:To shorten the filling time and improve the service life of equipment by accurately detecting the water level by providing a circulation pipe outside the bathroom with a water pressure sensor, said circulation pipe being air purged at the time of filling bath with water and used thereafter exclusively for water pressure sensing, and again performing the air purge and water pressure sensing after the water pressure sensor detected a predetermined water pressure. CONSTITUTION:When hot water is collected in a hopper 13, a water level switch 18 detects such, and, based on the detection signal, a pump 10 is operated to cause hot water to flow through a bypass pipe 14 and a return pipe 9 to purge air. When the air purge is completed after a certain time, a three-way valve 16 is switched to the feed pipe side to fill a bath tube 4 with water through a feed pipe 8, while a return pipe 9 serves exclusively as a water pressure sensing pipe which samples the water pressure. As the filling advances and the pressure sensor 11 detects a predetermined water pressure, the three-way valve 16 is again switched to purge air from the return pipe 9. After the air purge, the three-way valve 16 is switched to again read the water pressure. If the predetermined water pressure is detected, it is determined that the set water level L has been reached.

    • PURPOSE:To contrive to make the turn-down ratio of a burner larger, by providing a controlling device which controls to operate an air flow rate changing means when a fan reaches its maximum number of revolution, as well as to control the number of revolution of a fan to reach another maximum value. CONSTITUTION:At the time of maximum input, combustion takes place nearly at the yellow limit, with a damper 10 open, and a fan being operated at its maximum number of revolutions. The number of revolution is gradually decreased in accordance with the decrease of input, and at the lower limit, combustion takes place nearly at the limit of a lift. When the input is lowered further, the number of revolution is increased to the upper limit, with the damper 10 closed, and a combustion is started again from the yellow limit. The number of revolution is decreased in accordance with the input, and the combustion rate is lowered down to the limit of a lift. When the input is to be lowered further, a valve 8 to control the number of burner pipes 9 is closed to decrease the number from 7 pipes to 3, and the 3 pipes perform the same operation as that of 7 pipes. In such a manner the variable range of the number of revolution can be effectively used, and the turn-down ratio per burner can be made wide.
