The control unit 11 performs a sampling operation even if the hot water feeding is stopped in which the plug 3 is closed, for example, before the hot water feeding is started, and the water feeding temperature Tc from the water feeding temperature sensor 9, and when the hot water feeding is started, the volume of gas higher than the above-mentioned calculated gas volume is applied to the gas proportional valve 6 for a specified period of time under an initial hot water feeding mode.

    • PURPOSE:To make sufficiently certain control on a gas burning device, etc., not only under a normal condition, but also under a transient condition, by calculating a control data value estimating the condition of the device at the time of actual controlling operations from already obtained sampling data and using the control data value to the control of the next step. CONSTITUTION:Data collected at each sampling time are not used for the con trol of the next step as they are, but, as shown by the following formula, the control of the next step is executed by utilizing a control data value D obtained from the current sampling and data obtained before the current sampling: D=Dt +A1(Dt-Dt-1)+-+An(Dt-n-Dt--(n+1) ). The (n) of the above formula is an integer larger than '1' and the A1, A2...An are constants peculiar to the data. Under a normal condition where the value of sampling data does not change, Dt=Dt-1=.... Therefore, the same control as conventional ones is apparently performed. However, under a transient condition where the value changes, the above-mentioned control data value D varies and control estimating the condition when actual controlling operations are made is performed.

    • PURPOSE:To shorten the filling time and improve the service life of equipment by accurately detecting the water level by providing a circulation pipe outside the bathroom with a water pressure sensor, said circulation pipe being air purged at the time of filling bath with water and used thereafter exclusively for water pressure sensing, and again performing the air purge and water pressure sensing after the water pressure sensor detected a predetermined water pressure. CONSTITUTION:When hot water is collected in a hopper 13, a water level switch 18 detects such, and, based on the detection signal, a pump 10 is operated to cause hot water to flow through a bypass pipe 14 and a return pipe 9 to purge air. When the air purge is completed after a certain time, a three-way valve 16 is switched to the feed pipe side to fill a bath tube 4 with water through a feed pipe 8, while a return pipe 9 serves exclusively as a water pressure sensing pipe which samples the water pressure. As the filling advances and the pressure sensor 11 detects a predetermined water pressure, the three-way valve 16 is again switched to purge air from the return pipe 9. After the air purge, the three-way valve 16 is switched to again read the water pressure. If the predetermined water pressure is detected, it is determined that the set water level L has been reached.
