CONSTITUTION:Three edge end parts excepting one end edge part 111 of a sheet like membrane 11 having fluid barrier sheets 13a, 13b superposed on both surfaces thereof are sealed by the fluid barrier sheet 13a on the single surface side of the membrane 11 and three edge end parts excepting the other edge end part 114 of the sheet like membrane 11 are sealed by the fluid barrier sheet 13b on the other surface side of the membrane 11. In this sealed state, the superposed sheet 1 is spirally wound around a core 21 going from one end of the sheet like membrane 11 to the other end thereof and the outer periphery of this spirally wound member is covered with a cover member 31 and a raw soln. supply port 311 is provided to one end of the wound member and a filtrate taking-out port 321 is provided to the other end thereof. As a result, a filter excellent in back pressure resistance and capable of well preventing the stagnation of a treated soln. and air can be obtained.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure vessel which facilitate easy and rapid replacement of a membrane element and a membrane separation device using this pressure container. SOLUTION: An end plate 3 is fixed to one of the open end faces of a hollow cylindrical case 2 with a bolt 3a and an end plate 4 is fixed to the other open end face with a bolt 4a. In addition, a stock solution port 5 is formed on the outer peripheral face, on the end plate 3 side, of the cylindrical case 2, and a concentrate port 9 and a permeating liquid port 11 are formed on the outer peripheral face of the end plate 4 side. The permeating liquid port 11 is connected to a collection pipe 7 for a membrane element 31 through a permeating liquid guide-out passage 10 formed inside the end plate 4. When using this pressure container 1, stock solution piping is connected to the stock solution port 5 formed in the cylindrical case 2, and concentration piping is connected to the concentrate port 9, and further, permeating liquid piping is connected to the permeating liquid port 11. A membrane element 31 stored in the pressure container 1 is replaced by removing the end plates 3, 4 without dismantling the piping.

    • PURPOSE:To release air upward to prevent the retention of air by making through holes for vent holes for gas remaining in a gap for an original liquid pass in members and an upper end plate. CONSTITUTION:In a laminated element E, membrane members 2 where membranes 22 are provided on both the upper and lower faces of a membrane supporting plate 21 are connected to each other at the central parts and also laminated in the vertical directions leaving gaps 23 between the membrane surfaces. An upper end plate 24 and a lower end plate 25 are connected to the uppermost and the lowermost membrane members respectively. The gaps 23 between the membrane members 2 and between the membrane member 2 and the end plate 24 are made to be an original liquid pass and a pass 26 for collecting a filtrate passed through the membrane 22 of each membrane member 2 is installed in the center of the interior. And through holes 31 for vent are made in the membrane members 2 near the central part of them and facing the inner parts of the original liquid pass gaps 23 and a through hole 32 is made in the upper plate 24 near the center of it. Consequently since there remains no air, the original liquid is not cut off and the membranes are effectively used.

A transmitted solution back flow device B pushing out the gas accumulated in the disc- shaped permeable membrane units is provided to the main body A. As a result, the accumulation of gas between the permeable membrane units is prevented even when a gas generating raw solution is used and a sufficient filtering area can be always ensured.

    • PURPOSE:To minimize the lowering of filtration rate even in the liq. chemical- circulated filtration wherein the amt. of gas generated is fluctuated by providing the apparatus with >=1 filter for a large amt. of gas generated and >=1 filter for a small amt. of gas generated including the case where gas is not generated, in parallel in a circulating line, and an automatic valve for switching the feed lines to the filters. CONSTITUTION:The apparatus for circulating and filtering a liq. chemical with the amt. of gas generated fluctuated has a chemical circulating pump 5 and filters 1A and 1B. The circulating line is provided with >=1 filters 1A and 1B respectively for a large amt. of gas generated and for a small amt. of gas generated including the case where the gas is not generated, in parallel and automatic valves 2A and 2B for switching the feed lines to the filters. The pore diameter of the filter 1A is made larger than that of the filter 1B. Consequently the filtration rate is hardly lowered even in the chemical-circulated filtration wherein the amt. of gas generated is fluctuated, and the concn. of the fine particle in the circulated chemical is rapidly lowered.
