    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase lightweight properties and mechanical strength and to continuously obtain a long article by forming a three-layered structure, wherein a resin layer containing microballoons selected from the group consisting of glass balloons and plastic balloons is molded as an intermediate layer, and fiber reinforced resin layers are integrally molded as upper and lower layers. SOLUTION: A resin layer containing microballoons such as glass balloons or plastic microbaloons is formed as an intermediate layer, and fiber reinforced resin layers are formed as upper and lower layers to constitute a three-layered structure. A composite plastic panel is produced by a method wherein a thermosetting resin soln. 3 for the lower layer is applied to the lower carrier film on a conveyor 17, and reinforcing fibers 1 for the lower layer are supplied to obtain an impregnated mixture 18 for the lower layer through an impregnation roller 6. Reinforcing fibers 11 are supplied to an upper carrier film 12, and the thermosetting resin soln. 13 for the upper layer is applied to the fiber layer to obtain an impregnated mixture 19 for the upper layer through an impregnation rotary roller 16. This mixture 19 is laminated on the impregnated mixture 19 for the lower layer along with a compd. 8 for the intermediate layer, and all of them are passed through a heating over 20 through an impregnation rotary roller 9.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture simply a composite panel of light-weight and superior mechanical strength without using a foamed material for an intermediate layer by molding integrally a layer containing micro-balloons selected out of a group of glass balloons and plastic balloons for the intermediate layer and a fiber reinforced layer for an upper layer and a lower layer. SOLUTION: While an impregnated mixture 19 for an upper layer is introduced over an impregnated mixture 16 for a lower layer, a compound 8 for an intermediate layer composed of a mixture of micro-balloons such as glass balloons and plastic balloons with thermosetting resin liquid for the intermediate layer is introduced between the impregnated mixture 19 for the upper layer and the impregnated mixture 16 for the lower layer, and the above-said three layers are laminated and integrated. Then a three-layer structure thus formed is impregnated by impregnation rollers 9, 9 and squeezed out by squeeze rollers 10, 10 to the given thickness of the intermediate layer, and then defoamed and passed through a heating oven 20 for thermosetting, and then an upper film 12 and a lower film 2 are peeled off to manufacture a composite plastic panel 21 of integrated three layers.

    • PURPOSE:To enable cast molding under heating and a temperature rise using thermosetting resin, by a method wherein a pipe for the temperature rise is buried into a plastic layer adjacent to a metallic coating layer by turning a side mold surface into the metallic coating layer. CONSTITUTION:Casting parts 6 for casting thermosetting resin within a mold space 5 formed of a male and female molds 1, 2 and exhaust vents 7 for venting air in the mold space 5 are provided respectively at a plurality of positions on an important place of a male mold part 3. Then the female mold 2 is constituted of a female mold part 11 made of plastics having a metallic coating layer 10 on a mold surface and a stationary part 12 supporting and fixing the female mold part 11 by constituting of lumber and an angle iron by assembling them. Then a pipe 13 for a temperature rise based on a heating medium is buried into a position close to the metallic coating layer within the female mold part 11. The male and female mold parts 3, 11 are formed of the thermosetting resin, hereupon. It is desirable that the titled equipment is made of resin concrete or fiber reinforced plastics and especially fiber reinforced epoxy resin in consideration of strength of the mold, expansion or shrinkage based on heat, accuracy as the mold and dimensional stability.
