摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a vacuum blood collecting tube that is made of a synthetic resin and excellent in gas barrier properties by containing polyethylene terephthalate, poly-m-xylylene adipamide, and transition metals in respective specific amounts in the material of a bottomed tube body having a sealing member. CONSTITUTION:A bottomed tube body having a sealing member is made of a material which is composed of polyethylene terephthalate in the range 99 to 92wt.% and poly-m-xylylene adipamide in the range 1 to 8wt.% and which further contains transition metals by 1 to 100ppm. The sealing member is used in a vacuum blood collecting tube and formed by e.g. a detachable, elastic rubber stopper, a gas barrier member, and a seal member. The bottomed tube body is used as the vacuum blood collecting tube and is e.g. a tube of outside diameter 10 to 16mmphi and length 60 to 170mm. The polyethylene terephthalate is a kind of polyester obtained by reaction of ethylene glycol with terephthalic acid or its ester. More than 70% of the constitution units of the poly-m-xylylene adipamide are xylylene diamine and adipic acid and the transition metals are used in a state of salts.
