CONSTITUTION:A base plate 13 is supported freely rotatably on a revolving shaft 14 via bearings and plural kinds of alloy raw material powders 10 are charged together with hard balls 11 into the container 12 provided on this base plate 13. The hard balls with projections are made to coexist at preferably 5 to 20% ratio in the hard balls 11. The container 12 is vibrated at a high speed at the amplitude proportional to the angle of inclination of the revolving shaft 14 and the distance from the revolving shaft 14 by rotating the revolving shaft 14. The mixing and agitating of the alloy raw material powders are accelerated by the coexisting hard balls with the projections. The alloy raw material powders sticking to the inside walls and specific points of the container 12 are simultaneously scrapped off. Consequently, the alloy raw material powders 10 are efficiently made into the alloy powder.

    • PURPOSE: To manufacture a welded tube of excellent quality free from surface flaws or defective welds by the die draw forming method. CONSTITUTION: In manufacturing a welded tube 1c by forming a metallic strip 1 to be cylindrical by a forming die 20 having a through hole to achieve the contraction from the inlet side toward the outlet side, and welding an edge part on each side, the water-soluble lubricant 16 of 15-30vol.% in concentration is applied to the overall surface of a metal strip 1 which is on the outer side of the welded tube 1c by a lubricant applying equipment 10 arranged on the inlet side of the forming die 20, and the water-soluble solution adhered to the cylindrical metal strip 1 immediately after leaving the forming die 20 is removed by a wiping equipment 30. The surface of the cylindrical metallic strip 1 is heated and dried by a heating machine 35 after the water-soluble lubricant is wiped. Because the water-soluble lubricant 16 is not brought into the welded zone, the weld zone free from defects such as blowholes attributable to the gasification of water contents.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate a seam guide roll and to attain shortening of a production line by controlling the position of both side edges of a metallic belt processed for bending, making it pierce through a die and welding the abutting part of both side edges immediately with a welding torch. CONSTITUTION:The metallic belt 1 is applied with a lubricant on the surface that comes into contact with the die by a lubricant applicator 2 and subjected to a bending process from both side edges 1a to the part of a prescribed width by an edge bend roll 3. Next, by a guide mechanism 11, both side edges 1a are controlled for positions. Then, immediately, by the die 4 having a taper 4a in which the diameter becomes smaller from the entrance side to the exit, the belt is formed into a tube with both side edges abutted. Then, the abutting part 1b is butt-welded immediately by a squeezing roll 6 and welding torch 6, and a metallic welded tube 8 is obtained. Thus, the yield of product is improved.

    • PURPOSE:To manufacture a metallic welded tube having a good weld zone by applying a lubricant whose specific gravity is made constant by replenishing a solvent on the underside of a metallic strip before forming, forming with a die and welding it. CONSTITUTION:The lubricant 2 is applied on the metallic strip 1 which is delivered from an uncoiler with an applying roller 3. After forming into a tubular shape by passing the metallic strip 1 through the die 4 having a tapered through hole 5 of a circular section, the welded metallic tube is manufactured by welding the butted part with a welding torch 8. At that time, the lubricant 2 whose specific gravity is made constant by continuously or intermittently replenishing the solvent is applied on the whole of the underside of the metallic strip 1 before forming with the die 4. The specific gravity of the lubricant 2 is measured with a standard specific gravity meter 11 in a specific gravity measuring part 10 and the solvent is replenished from a solvent supplying port 12. In this way, the occurrence of weld defects such as a blow hole in the interior of a weld bead is prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent burning and the shortening of the life of a die by heating a metallic strip in a heating furnace in front of a die, after a lubricant is applied on the entire lower surface of the strip with an applicator roll, and continuously drying the lubricating oil stuck to the strip. CONSTITUTION:A planar metallic strip 1 is formed at a stroke into a tubular shape with both side edges abutted on each other by putting the strip 1 through a die 4 in which a through-hole is formed and provided with a round cross section and a tapered part 4a on the entrance side with the diameter gradually made smaller from the entrance side to the exit side. Then, this abutted part is welded with a welding torch 8 to produce a metallic welded tube. At that time, the metallic strip 1 is applied with a lubricant 2 on the entire lower surface by an applicator roll 3 in front of the die 4 so that the friction at the contact surface of the metallic strip 1 with the die 4 is reduced when the die 4 is put through and that flaws for example are not generated on the surface of the strip 1; and this applied lubricant 2 is continuously dried in a heating furnace 5 that is provided in farther front of the die 4.
