    • PURPOSE:To improve the coupling rigidity by providing two hollow square pole members each having a hollow boss part at its center and a slit on its main body, fastening the boss part of an end face of one member to the side face of the other by means of a bolt, and providing a distortion preventing member so as to bridge over the slits of both members. CONSTITUTION:Square pole members 2, 3 have one common sectional surface, each composed by connecting a main body 2e through which a slit is formed from one to the other end to a hollow boss part 11 through which a hole 15 is formed and on whose side surface a through-hole 13 is formed by means of ribs 12a to 12d. An end face of one square pole member 3 is abutted against the side surface of the other member 2, and a bolt 4 is screwed in the hole 15 of the member 3. In this case, a distortion preventing member 5 is arranged, and a seat part of thereof is inserted into a shaft part 4b of the bolt 4, while a leg part 5b thereof is bridged over the slits 14 of the members 2, 3 so as to engage them. A structure having high coupling rigidity is obtained with a small number of parts and simple assembling operation.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify connecting process and decrease manufacturing costs, by a method wherein after two polyethylene sheet materials and one polyurethan foam material are piled up, they are simultaneously and integrately connected to each other by an impulse heat seal technique. CONSTITUTION:A polyurethane foam material C is placed on an under-base 10 and the surface of a peripheral part 1a of an opening 1 of a polyethylene sheet material A is piled thereupon. A flange shaped end part of another polyethylene sheet material B is piled on the reverse side of said marginal part 1a. An upper- base 1' is lowered and a heating element H1 for an impulse heat seal mounted on the tip thereof is abutted against via a heating element cover 12 made of a fluoric resin and a predetermined pressure is added thereto. Simultaneously, the heating element H1 is heated by an electric heat or a high frequency heat. When the heating element H1 is cooled, the melted polyethylene resin is hardened to thermally adhere the polyethylene sheet materials A and B to each other.
