    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated sliding member having characteristics excellent in both seizure resistance and fatigue resistance without including harmful Pb and even under a severe condition of high temperature and high surface pressure, and to provide a sliding bearing having the laminated sliding member on its surface layer and excellent in seizure resistance and fatigue resistance. SOLUTION: This laminated sliding member is formed by laminating as a surface layer an Sn group alloy B on a bearing alloy A consisting of Sn: less than 6-15%, Si: 0.1-4.5%, one kind or two kinds selected from Cu, Cr: 0.1-2% by wt.% respectively, and a balance substantially formed of Al. Sn group alloy B as the surface layer consists of In: 0.1-15%, Cu: 0.1-5% by wt.% respectively, a solid lubricant of 5-20 vol.% consisting of one kind or more than two kinds selected from MoS2, WS2, graphite, PTFE and hBN, and a balance substantially formed of Sn. The layer thickness of the Sn group alloy B is set to not less than 1/40 nor more than 1/10 of the thickness of the bearing alloy A. A sliding bearing uses the laminated sliding member on its sliding surface side.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain an Al bearing which excels in both the fatigue resistant characteristic and surface performance by compacting two kinds of atomized Al alloy powders which are slightly different in component compsn., then subjecting the green compact to extrusion molding to obtain a plate-shaped extrudate, superposing such extrudates, coating the periphery thereof with Al powder and subjecting the same to extrusion molding again. CONSTITUTION:The atomized Al alloy powder I contg. 0.006-0.04 >=1 kinds among Pb, Sn, In, Sb, and Si as a lubricating component in cross area ratio of the content in the Al matrix, 0.01-0.17 Si as a hard component likewise in the cross sectional ratio and 0.2-5.0wt% >=1 kinds among Cu, Cr, Mg, Mn, Ni, Zn, and Ti as a reinforcement component is prepd. On the other hand, the atomized Al alloy powder II contg. the respective components mentioned above and contg. 0.04-0.12 lubricating component in cross sectional ratio is prepd. The billet obtd. by compacting the alloy powders in such a manner that the alloy powder I covers the alloy powder II is extrusion- molded to form the plate-shaped material. Said material is cut to a prescribed length and the plural extrudates are superposed. The periphery of the superposed extrudates positioned in the central part is coated with the Al powder and is molded. The resultant billet is extrusion-molded, by which the bearing is obtd.
