    • PURPOSE:To enhance safety and reduce a construction period by bringing a branch shield machine into an inner segment ring and closing a second window hole from inside by turning and jacking up the shield machine in alignment with the first and second window holes. CONSTITUTION:An outer segment ring 10 and an inner segment ring 20 which is housed in such a fashion that it may turn about its axis, are build-up in double structure. In this case, a first window hole 11 and a second window hole 21 are installed to the inner segment 10 and the outer ring segment 20 respectively. The first window hole 11 is closed by turning the inner ring segment 10. A branch shield machine 30 is launched by opening the first window hole 11, thereby excavating a branch tunnel. When opening the first window hole 11, the inner segment ring 10 is turned with the second window hole 21 closed with a branch shield machine 30. This construction makes it possible to prevent the collapse of fallen around by allowing the machine 30 close to the fallen ground to receive the earth and earth pressure outside the first window hole 11 and keep the underground not exposed in the pit.

    • PURPOSE:To carry out an alternative movement of an upper and lower frames automatically by a small force power source without requiring a high manufacturing accuracy. CONSTITUTION:Either one of pivotally supported detachable devices 1 forward moving or retreating horizontal connecting pins 2 arranged in parallel or connecting bodies having connecting holes, into which the horizontal connecting pins can be inserted, are mounted at positions having constant distances from each form panel 14 to the rear sides respectively in both upper and lower side sections of a top force body A and a bottom force body B. The cylinder bodies of hydraulic cylinders 10 are supported rotatably at the positions having constant distances from each form panel with the top force body and the bottom force body to the rear sides by horizontal pivotally supported shafts disposed in parallel respectively. Dumper arms erected and brought down by hydraulic cylinders for dumpers are installed onto top face sections with the top force body and the bottom force body and groove rails, into which the front rollers of the dumper arms are engaged by insertion at the time of bringing-down, onto underside sections respectively.
