    • PURPOSE:To stop red water without renewing piping equipment by inserting an anode electrode which is electrically insulated from a steel pipe into the steel pipe, connecting a cathode to the steel pipe and applying voltage between the two electrodes. CONSTITUTION:The water is removed from the entire part of the piping equipment 1 when the red water is generated in said equipment. A faucet 3 is then removed and one juncture 5 of a branch joint 4 is mounted to the juncture 6 of the steel pipe 2 and the juncture 8 of the faucet 3 is mounted to the other juncture 7. The anode electrode wire 10 is inserted from a branch port 9 of the branch joint 4 and is inserted over the entire length of the steel pipe 2 where rust is formed. An exposed side 11 of the anode electrode wire 10 is inserted into a holed rubber plug 12. This holed plug 12 is fitted into the branch port 9 of the branch joint 4. The plug 12 and the wire 10 are fixed to the port 9. An end part 15 of the wire 10 is connected to an anode side connecting terminal 17 of a constant voltage power supply 16 and the cathode side 18 of the constant voltage power supply 16 is connected to a branch joint wall 19. The red water is stopped when city water is supplied in this state to the piping equipment 1.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain the mounting structure capable of stably securing good sealing property over a long period by compression-deforming the large-diameter part of an elastic insulating member to be inserted into an electrode with the tapered pressing face of a holding member and the tapered pressing face of a pressing member. CONSTITUTION:The electrode 20 is inserted into the insertion hole 51 of the elastic insulating member 50 with its meandering part 21 extended from the member 50 to a specified length of fix the electrode 20 to a pipe fitting main body 11. Under such conditions, the supporting part 53 of the member 50 is inserted into the inner peripheral surface 12c of the holding part 12, and the tapered face 52b of the large-diameter part 52 of the member 50 is opposed to the inside of the holding face 12b. The pressing member 40 is then mounted on the other supporting part 54 of the member 50, and a male screw part 41 provided on its one end is screwed into the female screw part 12a of the holding part 12. The member 40 is then forcibly screwed into the holding part 12, and the holding face 12b and the tapered pressing face 44 of the member 40 are pressed respectively on the tapered faces 52b and 52c on the side surface of the large-diameter part 52 of the member 50. Finally, the gap between the holding face 12b and the tapered face 52b of the member 50 and the gap between the insertion hole 51 of the member 50 and the electrode 20 are sealed.

    • PURPOSE:To easily inhibit corrosion of a lining water piping system and to prevent the generation of reddish water by passing a current larger than a corrosion inhibitive current between a corrosion resistance anode provided in the pipe joint of the above-mentioned piping system and a metal exposed surface, then passing the current lower than this current. CONSTITUTION:A lifting pipeline 4 and a water feed pipeline 6 constituted by connecting plural lining pipes 7 with pipe joints, such as sockets 8, elbows 9 and tees 10, are connected to a lifting pump 2, a water storage tank 3, etc. The corrosion resistance anode 11 is disposed in an insulated and liquid tight state into the above-mentioned pipe joints of the water distributing system 1 consisting of the above-mentioned lining piping system. This anode 11 is preferably disposed at every pipe joint. The current is then passed between the above-mentioned anode 11 and the metal exposed surface in the pipe joints from a constant current source. The specified current larger than the corrosion inhibitive current is passed at this time to form the corrosion inhibitive film on the above-mentioned metal exposed surface. The specified current larger than the corrosion inhibitive current and lower than the current in the above- mentioned corrosion inhibitive film forming stage is passed throughout at the time when the water flows and at the time when the water stops to maintain the above-mentioned corrosion inhibitive film. The corrosion of the lining water piping system is inhibited in this way and the generation of the reddish water is efficiently prevented.
