摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a throttle lever having fuel flow adjusting function with high rigidity against deformation and high reliability, and tightly coupled with a throttle valve. SOLUTION: A throttle valve 8 having a restriction 8b is inserted and fitted rotatably and liftably into a cylindrical valve chamber crossing an intake passage of a carburetor body. A fuel nozzle is projected from a constant-pressure fuel chamber disposed at the bottom of the carburetor body to the restriction 8b of the throttle valve 8. A shaft portion 4a extending from the throttle valve 8 to the outside through a lid 25 for closing the valve chamber supports a needle valve to be inserted and fitted into the fuel nozzle. A metal reinforcing plate 45 is insert-molded in a throttle lever 2 made of a synthetic resin. The metal reinforcing plate 45 has: a shaft hole fitted to the shaft portion 4a; a cam portion 5 engaged with a follower supported by the lid 25, by force of a return spring; and a lever portion extending from the shaft hole to a side opposite to the cam portion 5.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable vaporized fuel IN a constant pressure fuel chamber to normally flow to an intake passage little by little together with fuel irrespective of the posture of an engine, thereby preventing much vaporized fuel from remaining in the chamber. SOLUTION: A membrane type carburetter supply fuel to a fuel nozzle 16 protruding to an intake passage from a constant pressure fuel chamber 30 of a carburetter main body 12 is provided with a fuel sump 28 at almost the center of the chamber 30. One of ends of the sump 28 is communicated with the nozzle 16 via. a check valve 26 and fuel jet 20 while the other is closed with a cover plate in which a through hole 30a is formed which communicates the sump 28 with the center of the chamber 30. A plurality of fuel passages 61 are provided whose dia. is the same as the through hole 30a radially extending from the sump 28 and being communicated with the circumferential edge of the chamber 30.

SOLUTION: An air valve 5 and a throttle valve 15 are arranged respectively on an air passage 4 and an intake passage 14 arranged parallely to an evaporator body 3. A relatively rotatable area is formed on a joint 20 which connects a lower end of the valve shaft 6 of the air valve 5 to an upper end of the valve shaft 16 of the throttle valve 15, which area is equivalent to difference between an opening/closing operation angle of the air valve 5 and that of the throttle valve 15. It is thus possible to obtain freedom in design in opening starting timing of the air valve 5, improve sealability of the air valve 5 at a close position, and attain a comparatively small size.

Fuel quantity to be supplied from the gutter 31 to the fuel reservoir 29 is set larger than the fuel quantity to be leaked through a through hole, and at the time of starting the engine, the fresh fuel having a low viscosity from a fuel tank 7 is stored in the fuel reservoir 29, and made to flow from the fuel reservoir 29 to an intake passage 13 through a starting fuel injection hole. With this structure, the engine can be smoothly started.

In order to open or close the air control valve C in cooperation with the opening or closing operation of a throat valve 15 of the carburettor B, both an operation lever for driving the throttle valve 15 and a lever of the air control valve C are connected by a connecting rod 13 in such a way that a relative space between them can be adjusted.

An expanding slot 22 in the axial direction wider than the cable diameter is provided on one end side of the round bar shaped plug 21, and a fitting hole 23 for the passing stop end part 2a of the cable 2 is provided on the lower half part of the plug 21. When the passing stop end part 2a of the cable 2 is inserted into the needle inserting hole 14a of the throttle valve 14, and the plug 21 is inserted into the plug inserting hole 20 of the throttle valve 14, the cable 2 is engaged with the expanding slot 22, and by pulling up the cable 2, the passing stop end part 2a is fitted in the hole 23 of the plug 21.

The air valve 5 is connected to the film 4. A spring 21 is wound around a negative pressure introduction pipe 8 communicating a Venturi part 13a of the intake passage 13 with the negative pressure chamber 3 penetratingly the air valve 5, for energizing the air valve 5 in a closing direction.
