摘要： PURPOSE:To control an input/output device without discriminating start requests from plural processors by treating IO control from CPU as the same as memory access and register access. CONSTITUTION:In an input/output controller IOC, a start reception part 1 receives the start requests from CPU through a start register 11, executes a start processing by an internal processing and reports a start processing result to request source CPU in a report control part 2 through a report register 12. At that time, the start requests generated in respective CPU are generated by the formation of the start request CPUID showing request source CPU and data. In IOC, a start reception queue register 13 in the reception pat 1 accumulates the start requests received in the register 11 and reads them. Thus, start processings for CPU are executed based on the start requests CPUID and a report register group 14 in the control part 2 accumulates a start processing result based on the start requests CPUID, reads them for respective CPU and gives information on the requests to request source CPU through the register 12. Thus, IOC receives the start requests from any of plural processors.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of design in a micro processor system by permitting a tracer connected to the external part of a micro processor to trace the arithmetic execution conditions of the micro processor having a integrated cache memory. CONSTITUTION:For tracing, an external cache memory 7 is connected to a common bus 5 and a command for moving a integrated cache memory non- operation means 6 from the external part is inputted. Since the integrated cache memory 3 is prevented from writing and reading by the input of the command concerned, an arithmetic execution part 2 gives a request reading the command concerned and data to a main storage device 4 in the external part whenever it requires the command and data. All the commands and data which are read from the device 4 are stored in the memory 7, and the command concerned and data are transmitted to the execution part 2 when the execution part 2 stores the requested command and data. When the tracer 8 connected on the bus 5 observes information passing on the bus 5, the nearly same state as the transfer of information between the execution part 2 and the memory 3 can be traced.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the direct memory access DMA transfer performance and to prevent the generation of a logic conflict by holding previously the ID information and a CM-IM boundary address in a common bus interface control part. CONSTITUTION:A DMA control part 43 designates a DMA via a control line 110 and suddenly gives a DMA address and the DMA data of a certain port to a common bus interface control part 42 via an address line 111 and a data line 112. The part 42 sends the DMA address, i.e., the output of a demultiplexer 113 and the DMA data, i.e., the output of a demultiplexer 114 to a common bus. At the same time, a comparator 118 compares the DMA address with the IM-CM boundary address of a register 117. Based on the result of this comparison, a selector 119 selects the CPU-ID or the CM-ID previously held in the registers 115 and 116. Then the ID information is sent to the common bus. Thus the DMA transfer performance is improved and at the same time a logic conflict is eliminated.

摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce the signal propagation delay time by selecting one of 3 display values with an output signal and using the selected value as the number of words received via a data transfer system. CONSTITUTION:A byte number received via a data transfer system is set in a byte number register 2 and a head byte address is set to an address register 4. The deciding circuit 8 outputs a signal selecting any of a word number display value, a word number display value +1 and a word number display value +2. Thus, the number of circuit components is reduced and the signal propagation delay time is reduced.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend the life of a contact pin and to enhance the reliability of actuation during insertion by providing a spring part with a pawl part, providing a core part with a cut part in which the pawl part fits, and fitting the pawl part into the cut part. SOLUTION: A spring part 13 has a C-shaped cross section, is fitted over a core part 12, and has contact pats 14 at two positions. Because of the C- shaped cross section of the spring part 13, all of burrs produced by press working are formed inside, i.e., on the end face of a through hole. A pawl part 15 is formed at the spring part 13, and a cut part 16 in which the pawl part 15 fits is provided in the core part 12 of a contact pin. By fitting the pawl part 15 into the cut part 16, the rotation of the spring part 13 is stopped by the cut part 16, and the spring part 13 is secured to the core part 12. Thus the burrs are prevented from being caught by the end face of the through hole during insertion, and the rate at which the spring is turned up is reduced. Also, a C-shaped cross section is more excellent than an S-shaped cross section in terms of rigidity, and the permanent set of the spring can be prevented.
