摘要： PURPOSE:To increase angle error detecting sensitivity, by providing a pyramidical horn for detecting an angle error, on a notch part provided on the circumference of a quadruple ridge type horn. CONSTITUTION:On 4 notched parts of a square quadruple ridge horn F, angle error detecting horns A, B, C and D are placed so as to be fitted in. The horns A, B, C and D are pyramidical horns for constituting a monopulse horn. The cut-off wavelength of a fundamental wave of the horn F is decided by size of a ridge, but it becomes longer than cut-off wavelength of a fundamental wave of a square horn having the same inside diameter size. The inside diameter size and the ridge size of the horn are decided so that the wavelength by the lowest frequency of the angle error detecting frequency and the communicating frequency becomes shorter than the cut-off wavelength, and also the horns A, B, C and D are placed at intervals by which the angle error detecting sensitivity becomes the maximum.

The external cylinder S encloses the horn H2 and is connected to the tip of the joint of the horn H1, and space is provided between the inner diameter of the cylinder S and the external wall of the horn H2. At the top, the cylinder which encloses the horn H2 and is shorten than the cylinder S is provided. The flat plate is projected from the external wall of the horn H2 and it is connected to the tip of the flat plate so that the cylinder S is at the top. Thus, leaked electromagnetic waves can be reduced over the full frequency.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve inter-frequency separative power by providing a series resonator, which prevents a frequency lower than that to be separated at a fixed coupling hole, in contact with the fixed hole. CONSTITUTION:Intermediate-frequency series resonator 8 with low-pass filter 7 and spacer 9 is provided with series resonator 10 resonating at a lower frequency through spacer 11 whose thikness is so selected that contact between resonators 8 and 10 is prevented not to increase reflection. A coupling hole for an intermediate frequency is considered to be shorted in terms of a lower frequency and leakage of the lower frequency is eliminated. In this case, the addition of resonator 10 never results in that effects of filter 7 and the series resonator for a higher frequency are lost.

摘要： PURPOSE:To feed double polarized waves which are orthogonal to each other to each radiating element, by multiplexing plural channels with use of a multiplexing device at the transmitter side and then demultiplexing the multiplexed channels by a polarized demultiplexing device at the side of a primary radiator. CONSTITUTION:The transmitters 611-6n2 transmit different channels f1-f2n within a band. The output of a transmitter part 1 is given to demultiplexing devices 711-7n1 and 712-7n2 which are connected to polarized demultiplexing devices 31-3n via 2 feeders 411 and 412. Then 2n units of channels comprising channels f1-fn and fn+1-f2n are successively demultiplexed by the devices 711- 7n1 and 712-7n2 in repsonse to the array of beams. The demultiplexed outputs are combined to the devices 31-3n to form polarized waves which are orthogonal to each other. These polarized waves are fed to radiating elements 51- 5n within a primary radiator 2.

On the other hand, the waves of fH introduced to the main waveguide 3 are electrically short-circuited at the resonator element 12, reach the waveguide 4 without being affected with the coupling hole 11 and are introduced to a square waveguide 5.

摘要： PURPOSE:To decrease the number of feeders by synthesizing transmitter groups and at the same time to demultiplexing the multiplexed waves to each radiating element by using a circular polarized directional filter as a demultiplexing device. CONSTITUTION:The transmitters 111-112 are multiplexed by multiplexing devices 61-62 to form transmitter groups 111-11n and 121-12n and then connected to feeders 21 and 22. The waves fed through the feeder 21 are coupled to each other via coupling holes 91-9n by controlling previously and properly cavity resonators 101-10n so that they resonate in response to the frequencies of transmitters 111-11n. Thus the right-turn circular polarized waves are excited in the resonators 101-10n and supplied to radiating elements 51-5n. In the same way, the waves fed through the feeder 22 are coupled to the resonators 101-10n. Then circular polarized waves orthogonal to the waves fed through the feeder 21, i.e., right-turn circular polarized waves are excited and fed to the elements 51-5n. Thus (n) units beams having polarized waves orthogonal to each other are formed.

Similarly, a series resonance element 5 for the 3rd frequency band is inserted at a position LH where the depth of the choke groove is about a quarter as great as the wavelength at the lowest frequency, so axially symmetric radiation characteristics with less side lobes are obtained.

摘要： PURPOSE:To secure the same effect as the resonator with its length increased relatively and then lower the resonance frequency by inserting the ring-type metal plate into the divided part and thus increasing the width of the wide face of the waveguide along with the decreased wavelength within the waveguide. CONSTITUTION:For the electric waves entered input waveguide 2, only the wave featuring the frequency corresponding to the resonator's length (circumference length of ring) is connected to resonator 4 via coupler 3a. This wave is then connected to output waveguide 5 via coupler 3b. As a result, only wave featuring the fixed frequency decided by the resonator's length is isolated and extracted among the waves composed of a number of frequencies. Then ring-type metal plates 8a and 8b are inserted to the divided part of ring-type resonator 4 in the ring-type branching filter, thus increasing the width of the wide face of the waveguide and decreasing the wavelength within the waveguide. In such way, the same effect can be obtained as in case the resonator's length is increased relatively, and at the same time the resonance frequency can be lowered.
