SOLUTION: On a browser terminal T1, the item contents of the digital contents and the contents of an individual summary collation table or basic summary collation table are displayed transparently one over the other; and a memo and an underline can be written and a bookmark can be inserted. Namely, the memo and underline are written in the individual summary collation table or basic summary collation table and the bookmark is inserted, so that the digital contents are displayed as if the memo and underline were written in the digital contents themselves and the bookmark were inserted. The actual memo, underline, and bookmark are held together with their position information by using page identifiers, line identifiers, and character number identifiers and entered corresponding to the corresponding lines and corresponding characters of the corresponding pages of the digital contents.

CONSTITUTION:It is supposed that a user of a 1st communication equipment 1 instructs zoom-up operation from an operation part 116 to an image pickup part 23 in a 2nd communication equipment 2. The operation part 116 transmits the instruction to a communication control part 111 and instructs the zoom-up operation to an image pickup control part 17. An image pickup part 13 executes the zoom-up operation based upon the instruction. The operation part 116 informs a sound control part 118 of the increment of a sound output from the 2nd equipment 2 and a sound output part 14 increases an output level. The control part 111 informs the equipment 2 of the instruction from the operation part 116. In the equipment 2, an image pickup control part 27 executes the zoom-up operation of the image pickup part 23. A sound control part 228 increases the output level of a sound output part 24.

    • PURPOSE:To enlarge communication location and to emphatically display the image of a speaker by varying an extracting area on a screen corresponding to the number of attendants at the time of synthesizing video signals from respective TV conference terminals, and modifying the arrangement at the time of synthesizing the extracting areas. CONSTITUTION:Video signals from respective TV conference terminals 1a-1f are signal-converted in interface parts 3a-3f, decoded by video line processing parts 4a-4f, and thus video synchronization is attained. Then, based on conference control signals (number of communication locations, number of conference attendants, segmented size/position information) from a specified terminal (for instance a terminal 1a at which a conference master of the chairman participates), a reduced picture is generated. A video multiplex switching part 12 generates the picture of a specified location or a reducing synthesis picture from each terminal corresponding to a request from each terminal, and the data is coded again in a processing part 4, then multiplexed with a voice signal from a voice line processing part 7, and further signal-converted in the interface part 3, thereafter, the data is distributed to respective terminals through a line 10.
