    • PURPOSE:To obtain a device usable for a curved surface, by providing an insulating board imbedded with many fine conductor pieces shorter than its thickness and having flexibility, between upper and lower members having plural of detecting conductors in the row and column directions. CONSTITUTION:An insulating board 6 having flexibility is imbedded with fine conductor pieces 7 having shorter length than its thickness toward the broadwise direction to form a pressure-sensitive conductor sheet 5. Plural detecting conductors 2 and 4 are provided in the upper and the lower members 1 and 3 in parallel with the row and column directions and the pressure-sensitive conductive sheet is clipped between the members 1 and 2. In pressing a desired part of the upper member 1 with a finger, the detection conductors 2 and 4 are conductive and the x, y coordinates of the conducted detectors are obtained at a detection section (not shown). Thus, easy input is attained and this system is most suited to a curved surface of a cathode-ray tube.

    • PURPOSE:To display both input contents and output information, to improve retrieving capability for data and operability, and to reduce the size of equipment, by arranging input key switches closely at the circumference of a display part for displaying input items correspondingly to the input item, one to one. CONSTITUTION:Data input equipment is provided with plural key input switches 12 for data input and an encoding circuit 14 which generates codes corresponding to the switches 12, and the codes generated by the circuit 14 are applied to a display control circuit 13. Information specified by the circuit 13 is retrieved and displayed on a display part 11. This display part 11 is used for selection for the guidance of the retrieval, and pieces of information on various fields are displayed on the display part 21; and input key switches 22 are arranged closely at the circumference of the display part 21 correspondingly to input items on the display part 21. The input equipment is provided with a voice output part to display information and also to voice an output, thus improving data retrieving capability and operability.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for the movement of eyes between a display and an input part, and to reduce a mental burden on an operator, by touching an indication part when a character is to be selected or when an indication for other operation is to be made, thus performing input operation which corresponds to display contents at the touched position. CONSTITUTION:A transparent plastic panel is put on the entire surface of the display screen 1 of a CRT, etc., and the touch panel is touched with a finger to input data at the touched part. On this display screen 1, a KANA (Japanese syllabary) input area 2, a KANJI (Chinese character) retrieval key area 3, and a KANJI retrieval area 4 are arranged. When the area 2 on the panel is touched, a character corresponding to the touched part is inputted as it is and then displayed in an input monitor area 5. For KANJI input, the area 3 is touched to specify KANJI input, and a character corresponding to KANJI in the area 2 is inputted and displayed in an area 4. A display part in the area 4 is touched to input KANJI selectively, and the KANJI is displayed in the area 5.
