    • PURPOSE:To simplify and quicken the setting of the operating mode by a subscriber and to improve the operability by providing a mode changeover request transmission means to a radio telephone set and providing a mode changeover request detection means and a mode changeover setting means to a connector. CONSTITUTION:A radio telephone set 10 is provided with a mode switching request transmission means 110 giving a changeover request between the occupancy mode and the nonoccupancy mode to a connector 30. Moreover, the connector 30 is provided with a mode changeover request detection means 307 monitoring the arrival of a mode changeover request sent from the telephone set 10 and a mode changeover setting means 308. When a mode changeover request is detected by the means 307, the means 308 changes over the operating mode of its own set into the occupancy mode or the nonoccupancy mode according to the content of the mode changeover request. Since a subscriber sets the operating mode from the telephone set 10 located nearby as required, the operability of the operating mode setting is improved and the operating mode is set simply and quickly.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the trouble such as the collection of a traffic and the sensitivity reduction by comparing the receiving level of a position informing signal from a stored and registered fixed radio equipment and the receiving level of a position informing signal from other fixed radio equipment and changing a fixed radio equipment to be registered in a communication control unit based on the comparison result. CONSTITUTION:For example, a mobile radio equipment 3a counts the number of a position informing signals from other fixed radio equipment 42 received by a receiving level larger than a position informing signal from a position registered fixed radio equipment 41. When the counted value is larger than a prescribed value and the device is in a radio zone 51 of the position registered fixed radio equipment 41, other fixed radio equipment 42 is the shortest and the position registration is updated. For such a reason, the position registration is executed to the radio zone of the fixed radio equipment always at the shortest distance. Thus, the number of moving radio devices 3a-3e registered for a radio zone is not collected to the special one, the collection of the traffic is eased and the call loss can be reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration in the speech quality by comparing a reception level of a position notice signal received from a stationary radio equipment whose position is already registered and from other stationary radio equipment and revising the registered position when the reception level of the latter is larger by a prescribed value or over. CONSTITUTION:After a notice monitor timer is set, e.g., a mobile radio equipment 3a checks whether the position notice signal is received from a stationary radio equipment 41 or other stationary radio equipments 41, 42 when the position notice signal with a prescribed level or over is received from any of the stationary radio equipments 41-43. Then the position notice signal from other stationary radio equipment is checked as to whether it is received at a larger level by a prescribed level or over than the signal from the stationary radio equipment registered already. When the level is received by a larger level with a prescribed value or over, since it represents that the stationary radio equipment moves to a new radio zone, the registered position is revised. Thus, the production level of a disturbing wave due to transmission or reception intermodulation is decreased to ensure the required speech quality.
