CONSTITUTION:When telephone sets A and B are connected mutually by the voice switch circuits of telephone sets which are capable of simultaneous calling and prevent the beginning and ending of a word from being cut and a speech path is formed, a signal generating circuit 174 sends a preset signal to a two- wire/four-wire converting circuit 13 and echoed around to the reception side of a repeating circuit 70. The returned preset signal is detected by a signal detecting circuit 176, and a timer 177 stops measuring the time and sends the transmission delay time Td of the echo pulse to a control circuit 178. The control circuit 178 sets the insertion loss corresponding to the time Td in variable loss circuits 171 and 172 and operates a changeover switch 175 as to transmit a transmit signal from a microphone 11 to a converting circuit 13.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce impulse noise induced by rapid voltage change, by changing a voltage between terminals of a telephone set when a DC loop is formed at incoming and outgoing calls gradually based on a charging time constant of a capacitor. CONSTITUTION:When a hook switch 7 is set on and a DC loop is formed at outgoing call, a current flows to a relay 13 and a capacitor 25 is connected in parallel with L1, L2 terminals. A voltage (e) between the terminals L1, L2 is changed based on the charging time constant of a capacitor 25. Further, a capacitor 19 is discharged via a resistor 20. When the switch 7 is set off, the voltage (e) is changed based on the charging time constant of the capacitor 19. Further, the capacitor 25 is discharged via a resistor 26. When the polarity of the voltage between the L1 and L2 at call incoming, the voltage (e) is changed based on the charging time constant of the capacitor 25. Further, the capacitor 19 is discharged via the capacitor 19 and the resistor 20. When the switch 7 is set on, the contact of the relay 13 keeps the non-busy state of telephone set. When the call is finished, the voltage (e) is changed with the charging time constant of the capacitor.

    • PURPOSE:To decrease the number of interface lines and to reduce the power consumption, by connecting the network terminal part with a digital telephone termina part via a DC separating balance/unbalance converting circuit. CONSTITUTION:A network terminal part 19 and a digital telephone terminal part 20 contain the DC separating balance/unbalance converting circuits 49 and 50 respectively. The circuits 49 and 50 are connected to each other via two interface lines. When a call is transmitted, a switch 1 colses, a DC loop is formed between a switchboard and the part 20 via an electric power separating balance/ unbalance converting circuit 4 plus the circuits 49 and 50. Then the power is supplied from the switchboard side to actuate the part 20. On the other hand, the electric power is supplied to a power supply circuit 7 of the part 19 from the switchboard side via the circuit 4 and a polarity coincidence diode circuit 3 in the incoming mode and with the inversion of polarity of the line voltage at the switchboard side. At the same time, the electric power is supplied to a power supply circuit 54 of the part 20 from the switchboard side via the circuits 4, 49 and 50 plus a polarity coincidence diode circuit 53. Thus both parts 19 and 20 are actuated.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the power for telephone input and the total power consumption per subscriber, by adjusting a DC resistor in a current supply circuit of an exchanger in response to a resistance of a subscriber line. CONSTITUTION:When a hook switch 4 is closed with off-hook and a DC loop between an exchanger and a telephone set is formed, a channel current determined with a voltage of a constant voltage power supply 1, resistance of resistors 2 and 3 and a variable resistor 6 and a DC resistance of a telephone set power supply circuit 11 flows to a subscriber line. A control circuit 10 compares a terminal voltage of the resistor 2 with a reference voltage of a reference voltage generating circuit 9 and when both the voltages are not equal, a trigger signal is outputted. Further, the variable resistor circuit 6 is operated with a trigger signal from the control circuit 10 so that a switch 7 in the variable resistor selects a plurality of resistors, and when the terminal voltage at the resistor 2 and the reference voltage are equal, the circuit 10 stops the transmission of the trigger signal and the switch stops the selection for steady state.
