摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a titled device which prevents surely closing of a nozzle during standing-by for casting by providing a heating element part to be electrically heated to a sliding plate so that the molten steel stagnating in the molten steel flow hole during the full closing of the nozzle is directly heated. CONSTITUTION:The heating element part 8 to be electrically heated is provided to at least the point of the sliding plate 5 which contacts with the molten steel flow hole 4 of a stationary plate 3 in the mis-matching position of the sliding nozzle device which regulates the molten steel flow by sliding the sliding plate 5 having a lower sliding nozzle 7 with the stationary plate 3 fixed to a vessel bottom 2 having an upper stationary nozzle 1 to match thorough or mis-match the molten metal flow holes, 4, 6 provided respectively thereto. The molten steel stagnating in the hole 4 is effectively heated by the part 8 to prevent closing by solidification.

摘要： PURPOSE:To perfectly prevent invasion of air into molten flow and to improve the quality by forming plate sliding face and nozzle joining face in a sealing space and using a low temp. melting sealing material at between the above nozzle and a nozzle holding metal. CONSTITUTION:An annular recessed part is arranged around opening hole part on upper face of the fixed metal frame 4, and by fitting a gasket, gap between iron shell 1 and the fixed metal frame 4 is sealed. An rectangular annular recessed part is arranged at side face of an opening/closing metal frame 10 and by fitting an 0 ring 14, gap between the fixed metal frame 4 and the opening/closing metal frame 10 is sealed. An annular recessed part is arranged on upper face of the nozzle holding metal 8 so as to contact around the opening hole part at lower face of the opening/closing metal frame 10, and by fitting a grand packing 13, gap between the opening/closing metal frame 10 and the nozzle holding metal 8 is sealed. An annular recessed part is arranged at inside of the nozzle holding metal 8, and a projecting part around the opening hole is fitted to a recessed part arranged at lower face of a flange part in the sub merged nozzle 9 and the low temp. melting sealing material 15 is packed and sealed at between both.

摘要： PURPOSE:To stabilize operational control by controlling the opening or shutting of a nozzle based on a measuring value of molten steel poured from a sliding nozzle apparatus and also holding the nozzle to a fixed position, when the measuring value is approached to a reference set value. CONSTITUTION:An output from a load-cell 7 for weighing fitted to a tundish 6 is supplied to a comparator 22 through a tundish weighing device 21 and an output to compare with the reference setting is supplied to a computing element 24. In the computing element 24, in accordance with a signal from the comparator 22, a signal of nozzle opening degree is outputted to a driving circuit 28 to drive a sliding plate 4b of the sliding nozzle apparatus 4. Further, by detecting a changing direction of this measuring value, the nozzle is held to the fixed position when the detecting value is approached to the reference set value. In this way, the operational control is stabilized and the service life of the nozzle is improved.

Further, an upper limit and lower limit as a blind sector for the measured value are set up and in this range, the nozzle is held to the fixed position. In this way, the operational control is stabilized and the service life of the nozzle is improved.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent thoroughly the penetration of air into molten steel flow and to improve the quality of the steel by forming the sliding surfaces of a plate into a hermetic chamber and providing a mouthpiece fittings for evacuation into said hermetic chamber. CONSTITUTION:The hermetic chamber C forming internally the sliding surfaces A, B of a sliding plate 11 is formed by connecting hermetically an open/shut metallic flask 10 to a stationary metallic flask 4 fixed to a shell 1. A vacuum suction device is connected via the mouthpiece fittings 29 to the chamber C to evacuate the inside of the chamber C. A reciprocating cylinder 13 is driven in this stage to slide the plate 11 and to match all the pouring ports so that the molten metal from a ladle, etc. is discharged through a tuyere brick 3, an upper nozzle 2, a stationary plate 6, the plate 11 and lower nozzle and immersion nozzles 7, 9 into a tundish, etc. A negative pressure is generated at the peripheral edge of the pouring holes and the surfaces A, B by the molten metal flow in this case. However, the surfaces A, B exist in the chamber C and the penetration of the air into the molten steel flow is thoroughly prevented by evacuating the inside of the chamber C to the reduced pressure larger than the negative pressure generated by the molten steel flow.

By this method, this can be approached to the necessary time till reaching to the aimed value of starting the ordinary drawing, i.e., the ordinary level raising velocity, and the accident of overflow, etc., can be prevented.

Also, a value of a temperature of the seat 60 is indicated in the recorder 160 through the amplifier 110 by a thermocouple 140 contained in a sample receiving base 40.
