    • PURPOSE:To allow stable operations without meandering by providing a meandering adjusting roller used exclusively at the time of upper winding which does not come into contact with a belt at the time of lower winding and providing a meandering adjusting roller used exclusively at the time of lower winding which does not come into contact with the belt at the time of upper winding. CONSTITUTION:A front end arm 12 for upper winding swings in the direction of holding a take-up drum thereon (closing direction) at the time of upper winding. A front end arm 13 for lower winding is held released at this time and there are no cases both arms make the same operation. While one is held open, the other is held closed. The meandering adjusting roller 5 used exclusively for upper winding is disposed with the roller in such a manner that the roller is around the belt when the front end for upper winding is held closed and that the roller is detached from the belt in the open state of the arm. The meandering adjusting roller 6 used exclusively for lower winding is wound around the belt while the front end arm for lower winding is held closed. The meandering of both upper and lower winding is separately and independently adjusted by the respective meandering adjusting rollers used exclusively. Thus, the stable operations with which the adjustment is easy and which eliminate meandering are executed in such a manner.

    • PURPOSE:To enable cutting the fish tail-like end part of a strip by moving the position of the other pinch roller for one pinch roller of a pinch roller device so as to respectively face a trip or end plate to the part of a winding machine or to the part of an end plate processing device. CONSTITUTION:The transfer speed of a strip 14 is reduced to the speed range capable of shearing the tail end 11 of the strip 14 by a running shearing machine 1 from the time when the strip 14 wound on a winder 9 becomes close to the winding completion and the tail end 11 of the strip 14 is drawn out of a rolling mill. Simultaneously therewith the upper roller 17a of a pinch roller is shifted to the specified position for a lower roller 17b. When the above shearing preparation is completed a cutting command comes in and the tail end of the strip 14 is sheared by a drum type flying shear 1. The coil 8 of the strip 14 wound by the winder 9 is carried out by a coil car 10 and the other sheared tail end 13 is guided by a guide 4, transferred by being interposed by a lower conveyor 5 and upper conveyor 6 and loaded on an end plate loading device 16.

    • PURPOSE:To make the cutter exchange rapid and easy in a scrap chopper having cutters installed to a vertical pair of cylindrical drums by making a cutter shaft and the cutters in separate pieces, taper-connecting the both, providing a channel for passing a pressure oil from the shaft end to a cutter holder, and extending the cutter holder by the oil pressure. CONSTITUTION:A cutter shaft 23 is pivotally supported to a casing through a bearing, a cutter shaft 23 and a cutter holder 19 are fitted by tapering and fastened by an end plate 12, and further a cross key 25 is mounted thereto, so that the rotation torque is sufficiently transmitted. The holder 19 has the even number of cutters 20 mounted thereto. In the exchange of the cutter holder 19, when the oil is pressurized by a hand pump 10, the pressure oil is entered through a quick joint 14 into an oil channel 24, and the cutter holder 19 is extended by the force of the pressure oil, whereby the cutter holder 19 can be easily taken out.

    • PURPOSE:To position a rack bar accurately and to facilitate attaching and detaching of a mandrel by providing a clamping device for rack bar which prevents the push back of the rack bar to the retreat end of the rack bar. CONSTITUTION:When a rack 21 and a rack bar 9 are moved to the retreat limit by a pinion, a press roller 23 is moved in a direction G by a cylinder via a lever, until it abuts on the end face of the bar 9, when the bar 9 stops. On the other hand, a roller 28 moves in direction H, and depresses a link 29. The link 29 moves around a fulcrum 31 in a direction K, and clamps a block 34 mounted to the bar 9 by means of a clamping head 30. Thereby, the generation of springback during stoppage of the rack bar is prevented, the rack bar is positioned accurately, and the attaching and dtaching of the rack bar 9 and the mandrel are made possible.

    • PURPOSE:The ratio of diameter for detection cylinder and oil hydraulic cylinder used in pendulum type shearing machine is adequately selected and a locus of the surface of hanging roller moves always on the pass-line. By doing so, even deformed material can pass a pass-line by means of effective guidance. CONSTITUTION:This shearing machine incorporates an upper cutting blade 5 attached to an upper cutting blade table 4 and a lower cutting blade 7 attached to a lower cutting blade table 6, and has a housing 8 to be moved synchronizing with shearing operation. Then, for jointing the up and down movement of a hanging roller: 9 and 10, to the movement of the shearing machine body, a cylinder 18 to detect the stroke of a link 14 is connected to a link connection shaft 17. When the shearing machine body moves and if ratio of diameter for a detection cylinder 18 and an oil hydraulic cylinder: 10 and 12, is adequately selected, a locus of the surface of a hanging roller: 9 and 11, moves always on a pass-line 31 as shown in a sign: 29 and 30, and subsequently a material 1 can be efficiently passed.
