    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove and recover dioxins and the like in exhaust gas while avoiding troubles of facilities due to fluctuation of the composition of exhaust gas without burning the exhaust gas containing a large amount of latent heat constituents produced in a scrap melting furnace and a preheating furnace using a large amount of fossil fuel. SOLUTION: The exhaust gas produced in the iron-based scrap melting furnace 1 or the preheating furnace 2 is subjected to a primary dust collection by a hot gas cyclone 3, then cooled indirectly in an indirect cooling tower 4, and is further subjected to dust removal in a main dry dust precipitator 5 so as to remove dioxins and the like at a low temperature. Then exhaust gas recovery is carried out. The composition of the exhaust gas produced in the melting furnace or the preheating furnace is analyzed and if the exhaust gas is reductive, dust collection is performed by the main dry dust precipitator 5 and if the exhaust gas is oxidative, dust collection is performed by a dry dust collector 6 for bypass purpose. A wet dust collector such as Venturi scrubber or the like can be used as the dust collector for bypass purpose in place of the dry dust collector 6.

SOLUTION: The slag 11 stuck to the immersion tube 10 in the vacuum and reduced pressure refining apparatus is removed by integrally elevating/ lowering an edge 2 and a chute 3, and recovered in the chute 3. The recovered slag is stored by dropping into a hopper 5 at the lower part from the opening hole part 4 at the center of the chute 3, and the slag stored in the hopper 5 is carried out together with the hopper 5 and threw out. Further, according to the sticking condition of the slag 11 to the immersion tube 10, the slag from the outside to the inside is removed in order while adjusting the slag removing diameter by changing the position of the edge 2.

On the other hand, the lance 9 and the powder discharge valve 5 are communicated through a three-way valve 7 and a guide pipe 8, and also a carrier gas piping 14 is communicated with the above guide pipe 8 through an automatic valve 13.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and facility for desulfurizing molten pig iron with which even in the case the setting place in the facility can not sufficiently be secured and the preparing cost can not be provided, the operational cycle of the desulfurizing treatment can be adopted to a converter operational cycle by improving a series of treating capacity from the desulfurization to the slag-removing treatment and shortening the operational cycle of the desulfurizing treatment containing the slag-removing treatment.
      SOLUTION: The method for desulfurizing the molten pig iron, is adopted, in which the slag-removing treatment is performed with any slag-removing device to the molten pig iron pre-treated with a desulfurizing apparatus charged in another molten pig iron ladle, while succeeding the treatment with the desulfurizing apparatus to the molten pig iron charged in the one of molten pig iron ladle by using the desulfurizing apparatus for stirring while adding the desulfurizing agent into the molten pig iron, the plurality of slag-removing devices for slag-removing the slag generated in the molten pig iron after stirring and the desulfurizing facility at least provided with the plurality of molten pig iron ladles relatively shifted at least to the desulfurizing apparatus.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal device for vacuum degassing a lance which separates the outer surface of the lance and a seal tube at the time of elevating/lowering the lance and can lower the breaking frequency of the seal tube. SOLUTION: The heat resistant seal tube 3 is arranged on the inner peripheral surface of a hole 2 for inserting the lance in a vacuum vessel 1 for executing the vacuum degassing treatment of molten steel, and a pressure source 4 and a vacuum device 5 are connected with the seal tube 3. In the case of fixing the lance 6, a gap between the hole 2 for inserting the lance and the outer surface of the lance 6 is closed by pressurizing in the seal tube 3 to execute the vacuum seal. In the case of elevating/lowering the lance 6, the seal tube 3 is separated from the outer surface of the lance 6 by forcedly reducing the pressure in the seal tube 3. By this way, the breaking frequency of the seal tube at the time of elevating/lowering the lance is lowered and the service life is extended and the reduction in degassing capacity and the deterioration of the product quality can be prevented.
