    • PURPOSE:To manufacture a bimetallic curved tube in which an external tube is attached tightly to the external surface of an internal tube by giving internal pressure to the bimetallic curved tube to deform it in a radial and external direction and heating and cooling the circumference of the external tube continuously and annularly in its lengthwise direction. CONSTITUTION:An unattached bimetallic curved tube 1 composed of the external tube 11 and the internal tube 12 is set to a rotary frame 2 to fix a connector 7 and a blind patch 8 to both its ends. A hydraulic device 6 is connected with the connector 7 to fill the internal part of the curved tube 1 with pressure water, plastically deforming pressure is added to the internal tube 12 and the tube is stably and plastically deformed in the radial and outward direction to be pressed against the internal surface of the external tube 11. Simultaneously, one end of a zone to receive diameter- reducing treatment is begun to be heated by a thermally equalizing coil 4, is heated up to a desired temperature, and as so as spray cooling is started, a rotary frame 2 is revolved in an A-direction, the curved tube 1 is moved to the thermally equalizing coil 4 to make a continuous annular heating and cooling. In this way, the external tube 11 is thermally shrunk and attached tightly to the external surface of the internal tube.

    • PURPOSE:To easily inspect an inner tube by making the interface gap of an inner tube and outer tube vacuum, detecting the absence of the penetration defect of the inner tube and measuring the degree of the integration of the inner and outer tubes by leading a gas into the interface gap in case of no defect being detected. CONSTITUTION:The position of a water tank 7b is decided so that the water level of the pipet 7a for the volume measurement is located at an optimum position in the state of making an interface gap 1c and pipe lines 4a-4d in an atmospheric pressure by opening stop valves 3a, 3b and a relief valve 8 at the beginning. The valve 8, 3b are then closed, a vacuum pump 6 is actuated and the absence of the inner tube damage is inspected by monitoring the vacuum state of the parts of the gap 1c and pipe lines 4a, 4c by a vacuum gage 5. And when the soundness of the inner tube is confirmed, the valve 3a is closed, the pump 6 is stopped, the valve 3b is opened and when the gas of the inside of the pipe lines 4b, 4d and pipet 7a is sucked into the gap 1c in a vacuum state, the water level of the pipet 7a varies. The measurement of the gap 1c is therefore unabled by measuring this amount. The penetration defect of the inner tube can thus be easily inspected.
