CONSTITUTION:Voltage and large current from welder transformer circuit are supplied to the materials to be welded S1, S2 through electrodes 3A, 3B to execute resistance weld. Then, the welding surface temp. T, welding primary voltage E, welding primary current I, electrode ring pressurizing force P, welding speed S, lapping length L and input heat quantity W are measured, respectively. Each permissible range is set based on the reference value to the thickness and the material quality of the plate to be welded. When at least one measured value among the measured values exceeds the permissible value, it is decided that the welding condition abnormality exists. By this method, the operator quickly detects the abnormality and action of rewelding can be executed.
