    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical sloshing preventive device capable of preventing sloshing.
      SOLUTION: The sloshing preventive device reduces the sloshing of liquid in a storage container 2, and a horizontal sloshing preventive member 5 is provided separately from the inner wall of the storage container between a liquid level and a position separated from the inner wall of the storage container. The sloshing preventive member 5 is supported by a stay 6 erected in the storage container 2 or provided in a positionally adjustable manner in the vertical direction with respect to the stay 6. The sloshing preventive member 5 is arranged between the liquid level and the position separated inward the liquid by a buoy and a weight connected thereto.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for the renewal work for a deteriorated existing water storage tank while making its water usable without suspension of water supply. SOLUTION: A new water storage tank 2 having a planar shape smaller than that of the existing tank 1 for placing the new tank inside an existing one is fabricated near the outside of the existing water storage tank, and the new water storage tank 2 is inserted and installed to the inside of the existing water storage tank 1 by utilizing buoyancy of stored water in the tank 1 in this nonsuspension of water supply renewal method.
