    • PURPOSE:To easily make the title plate joined well by interposing a medium material having smaller deformation resistance than a thin clad plate and base metal plate between both and rolling by a temp. rising roll with blowing the inert gas having m.p. lower than that of the plate materials between the plate materials. CONSTITUTION:The pure aluminum thin plate 3 having small deformation resistance is interposed between the thin clad plate 1 of the titanium for industrial use with cleaned surface and the thin base plate 2 of a carbon steel or stainless steel and both are joined by rolling them with the rolling rolls 4, 4' whose temp. is raised within the range of >=100 deg.C with raising the temp. of the plate materials by blowing from blowing nozzles 6, 6' the high temp. inert gas which is >=100 deg.C and lower than the m.p. of thin plates 1, 2, 3 to both clad face parts. The thin clad plate is manufactured well without any deterioration with warm pressure welding. Both sides clad plate may be made by joining the clad plate with similar technique to the base metal side of the clad plate.

    • PURPOSE:To decrease the number of passes of sheet rolling by so constituting a rolling mill having 2 pairs of work rolls in contact with 2 pieces of back up rolls and 3 pairs of roll sets that 4 pieces of the back up rolls on the outside are driven and 2 pieces of the central back up rolls are not driven. CONSTITUTION:This plate rolling device consists of 4 pieces of the work rolls 1, 1', 2, 2' and respectively 2 pieces of the back up rolls 3, 3', 4, 4', 5, 5' in contact therewith. Four pieces of the back up rolls 3, 3', 5, 5' on the outside are driven and two pieces of the central back up rolls 4, 4' are not driven. The non-driven rolls 4, 4' are preferably supported by scerw-down devices. The crowns of the work rolls can be changed by changing the screw-down position in the longitudinal direction of the rolls. A sheet-shaped material 6 to be rolled is continuously rolled by the work rolls 1, 1' and 2, 2'. The number of passes of the sheet rolling is decreased and the rollable limit can be expanded to the small thickness side by this device.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the equipment space with a direct forging and to improve the yield by pressing the material to be worked with moving the pressing tool unit of a forging machine arranged on the track of the material to be worked of a continuous casting machine, injection molding machine, etc., along the major axial direction of the material to be worked. CONSTITUTION:The material 2 to be worked is made by forming the raw material of a liquid, powder by the rough forming machine 1 of a continuous casting machine, injection molding machine or extruding machine. The material 2 to be worked is continuously rolled by the rolling mill 3 arranged so as to enable to continuously work on the track of the material 2 to be worked and forged in the necessary sectional shape by the forging machine 4 arranged just behind the rolling mill 3. The forging machine 4 forges the material 2 to be worked with moving at least pressing tool units 5, 5 long the major axial direction of the material to be worked. The reciprocating movement of the pressing tool units 5, 5 is displayed by the locus 7 of the pressing tool. The equipment space can thus be reduced, the cutting stage before forging can be abbreviated and the yield can be improved.
