    • PURPOSE:To prevent jamming and erroneous transmission or the generation of noise to some other place by transmitting an auxiliary carrier wave of frequency lower than that of a carrier wave from an interrogator and prohibiting a responder entrance signal in the presence of a communication signal at the start time of the operation of the power supply of a responder. CONSTITUTION:When an ID card (responder) 400 enters an communication region at first, the card receives the non-modulated carrier wave of an interrogator 300 and the power supply of the interrogator 300 begins to operate and the carrier wave is modulated by a modulator 410 to send a responder entrance signal. The interrogator 300 generates an auxiliary carrier wave having frequency lower than that of the carrier wave and higher than signal frequency in place of the carrier wave to transmit the same. Further, the modulated carrier wave and the auxiliary carrier wave are received and demodulated to obtain the responder entrance signal and a discrimination signal. The card 400 receives the auxiliary carrier wave to modulate the same to return the discrimination signal and receives a frequency component equal to or less than the frequency of the auxiliary carrier wave to generate a communication signal and, at the start time of the operation of the power supply 405, the return of the responder entrance signal is prohibited by the monitoring of a high band component detector 406 when the communication signal is present.

    • PURPOSE:To diagnose transmitting capability, by indicating ultrasonic pulse transmitting direction by a direction-indicating means and indicating condition of transmitting capability of an ultrasonic pulse generating device by a condition- indicating means, by using the ultrasonic pulse received by a receiving means. CONSTITUTION:When a transmitting capability diagnosing device 2 is arranged in front of an ultrasonic-pulse obstacle detecting device of such an object as a vehicle, an ultrasonic pulse emitted from the detecting device is received by an ultrasonic receiver 14, amplified 20, peak-held by a peak detecting circuit 21 and indicated on an analog meter 16. A wave of the signal having been amplified 20 is detected by a wave-detecting comparator 22, and when the output exceeds a prescribed value, a frequency-dividing circuit 24 is reset, and an oscillating pulse from an oscillating circuit 23 is put into the circuit 24, and a speaker 17 generates an intermittent sound signal. It is possible to diagnose the transmitting capability by detecting the transmitting direction of the detecting device using said intermittent sound signal and also by measuring transmitting sound pressure of the detecting device by a meter 16.

    • PURPOSE:To radiate a large amount of power to a space and to obtain the structure of an array antenna with superior efficiency by providing a second feed part separated to an inputting feed line and an outputting feed line under a radiant element at a part of a feed line, and forming a part with a large power coupling rate on the feed line. CONSTITUTION:The feed line 6 is provided with a first feed part 6a wired by being separated by a prescribed dimension from one of the outer blocks of the radiant element 8 in the direction of the flat plane of a second dielectric substrate 9, and the second feed part 6b arranged within the width of another one of outer blocks of the radiant element 8 and provided with an end part separated just underneath the radiant element 8. And the power coupling rate between the first feed part 6a and the radiant element 8 most neighboring to the first feed part is set larger than that between the second feed part 6b and the radiant element 8 most neighboring to the second feed part. Thus, by combining a part with an especially large power coupling rate with the part with a smaller rate, it is possible to increase the power radiated from the whole of the radiant element as arranging the relative ratio of power distribution of neighboring radiant elements, that is, a power strength ratio at a prescribed ratio.
