    • PURPOSE:To obtain an evaporated fuel control device which can prevent deterioration of activated carbon adsorption/desorption for evaporated fuel. CONSTITUTION:An inside space of a casing 2 of a canister 1 is divided into a center chamber R1 and an outer peripheral chamber R2 by means of a partition plate 5, while activated carbon layers 6, 7 are arranged in the chambers R1, R2. A timer contact circuit 44 controls a vapor supplying three-directional valve 35 and a purging three-directional valve 27 to switch first and second conditions, in which first condition evaporated fuel in a fuel tank 32 is adsorbed by the activated carbon layer 6 in the canister 1. While the evaporated fuel adsorbed by the activated carbon layer 7 is purged by an engine intake pipe 29, and in which second condition, the evaporated fuel in the fuel tank 32 is adsorbed by the activated carbon layer 7 in the canister 1 while the evaporated fuel adsorbed by the activated carbon layer 6 in the canister 1 is purged by the engine intake pipe 29.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control emission of vapor to atmosphere by lowering generation quantity of the vapor, while securing safety. SOLUTION: An evaporative emission treatment device is provided with a canister 3 which is formed by filling adsorbent for evaporative emissions and the canister 3 has one end connected to an evaporative emission path 2 for communicated with a fuel tank 1 and the other end connected to an air introduction path 32 for communicated with atmosphere. A tank internal pressure valve 21 which is composed of a discharge valve 201, which opens to the evaporative emission path 2 and discharges the evaporative emission 102, when the internal pressure of the fuel tank 1 increases over a prescribed range, and a suction valve 202, which opens the evaporative emission flow path 201 and sucks the atmosphere, when the internal pressure of the fuel tank 1 decreases down the prescribed range, is provided in the evaporative emission path 2 so that the valve opening pressure of the suction valve 202 is set to high. The tank internal pressure is held low in decreasing of the internal pressure of the fuel tank 1 so that the discharge volume of the evaporative emissions from the tank can be reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To effectively prevent the fuel temperature rise due to the engine hot air. CONSTITUTION:A partitioning wall is installed in a tank 1 along a tank bottom wall 12a exposed to the hot air of an engine, and the part between the partitioning wall 2 and the bottom wall is formed to a fuel staying space 1a. The space 1a communicates to an upper main tank space 1b having a large capacity by the gap of a drain hole 23 into which a fuel pump 3 is inserted. Since the partitioning wall is constituted of the resin having the superior heat resistance, the fuel temperature in the space 1a having a small capacity is speedily raised to the hot air temperature by the received heat supplied from the engine hot air. Since the received heat quantity of fuel is larger as the temperature difference from the engine hot air is larger, the received heat quantity of the space 1a becomes small at the temperature close to the hot air temperature. Then, the heat quantity which transfers from the fuel staying space 1a to the main tank space 1b reduces, and the hot air temperature rise in the space 1b is suppressed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To early enable warming-up or heating, just after cold starting of an engine.
      SOLUTION: A control device 50 selects an engine flow passage 41 by a switching valve 40 in warming-up from the cold starting of the engine 10, and fills hot water stored in a heat storage tank 70 in the engine 10. Next, the warming-up of the engine 10 is performed in a state of stopping the circulation of the hot water filled in the engine 10 by switching the switching valve 40 to an engine bypass passage 43. Thus, the hot water stored in the heat storage tank 70 is filled in the engine 10 just after the cold starting, and the warming-up is advanced in a state of stopping the circulation of hot water in the engine 10 after being filled, and further early warming-up can be attained thereby.
