    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic train control device capable of transmitting relatively much train control information by setting a frame length of transmitted code information so short as to take a time capable of receiving one frame at a minimum on a vehicle by considering the passing time of a train in a short and small track circuit, by setting only minimum required information as an information content, and by keeping the information of an outside track circuit as information other than that. SOLUTION: In a ground device 1, when a track circuit length is determined by a track circuit length determination part 1a, a frame length of 1/2 or less of a time for the train to pass the short and small track circuit is set in the control information of the short and small track circuit, and a short and small kind track circuit control signal having set the short and small track circuit control information is transmitted to a rail 2 by a transmission control part 1d. In an on-vehicle device 4, when the short and small track circuit control signal carried to the rail 2 from the ground device 1 is received by a receiving antenna, and it is confirmed that all frames set in the short and small track circuit control signal has properly received, the short and small track circuit control information set in the short frame is deciphered by decoding it.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a switching circuit realizing asymmetrically of control where the circuit is controlled to be open on the occurrence of a fault by combining pluralities of semiconductors so as to configure the circuit provided with a function substituting relay functions and specifying the control. SOLUTION: A 1st switching circuit connects in series with a midway of a signal line, consists of semiconductor switches A1, A2, a 2nd switching circuit connects in parallel with the 1st switching circuit and consists of semiconductor switches B1, B2. A signal source generates a signal S for investigating the operation of each semiconductor switch. Then a control section provides an output of a control signal by which any of the 1st and 2nd switching circuits is made open at all times and each switch is controlled to ensure a signal transfer path to the signal line, each switch in the switching circuit not in the closing state is sequentially switched to apply an operation check signal S to each switch in operation and each operation check state of each switch in the operation is outputted from an output terminal.

    • PURPOSE: To make the retrieval time of an own rail aspect condition storage table constant by own rail aspect condition selecting means and to avoid increase in time in proportion to the number of aspects by retrieving the table based on code information received from forward rail aspect condition encoding means. CONSTITUTION: An encoder 13 installed at a forward rail aspect condition encoding means 12 generates code information 13a, and stores it in a code information storage unit 14. Own rail aspect condition 16a of the speed limit condition of a railway vehicle is stored at the information 13a based on an address 18a having a one-by-one corresponding relation in a own rail aspect condition storage table 16. As a result, the retrieval time required to retrieve the table 16 by own rail aspect condition selecting means 18 can be made constant. That is, the increase in the retrieval time of the means 18 in proportion to the number of the aspects can be avoided.
