SOLUTION: The emitted light quantity of an LED 3 for monitor connected in series to an LED 2 for display of a signal lamp is monitored by a circuit 9. When the emitted light quantity of the LED 3 for monitor reaches a prescribed value or smaller, the output of an operational amplifier 8 is inverted from the low level to the high level, and the output of a gate 13 is inverted from the low level to the high level to release energizing of an alarm relay 12, and an alarm is outputted to the outside. Since the LED 2 for display and the LED 3 for monitor of the same production lot are used and are placed in practically equivalent environments, the end of the life of the LED for display can be estimated by the end of the life of the LED for monitor.

The output signal of the circuit 4 is not used for controlling the other unit. The correctness of a device can be judged without constituting the circuit 4 by a multiplex system and cost can be reduced.
