    • PURPOSE:To provide a method and device for welding a wire in with a gas such as the gas or steam generated at heating welding can be surely removed. CONSTITUTION:While a gas such as the gas or steam generated at heating welding is exhausted to the outside through a gas exhausting passage 3c provided on a welding device, the outflow of a welding material 1 at heating welding is prevented by molten metal stoppers 14 mounted on the end parts of two cables. This device has a housing part 1 formed of a cartridge outer cylinder 2, a heating agent causing oxidation reduction reaction which is filled in the cartridge outer cylinder 2, a cylindrical bulkhead member 3 which is provided with a flange having a gas exhausting passage and arranged on the inside of the cartridge outer cylinder and a stopping member 4 fitted to the flange of the bulkhead member 3; and the molten metal stoppers 14 mounted on the end parts of the cables and inserted into the cylindrical bulkhead part 3, so that a welding material is heated and fused by oxidation reduction reaction heat to weld the end parts of both the cables, and the generated gas or steam is also exhausted through a passage 11 formed by the gas exhausting passage 3C provided on the flange of the bulkhead member 3, the flange of the bulkhead member 3, and the stopper member 4.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the volume of a welding part at welding time in welding of an electric wire on which a wire diameter is not more than 4.0mm. SOLUTION: A welding material 6 is inserted into a welder, and molten metal stoppers 34 are arranged in end parts of two electric wires to be connected on which a wire diameter is not more than 4.0mm, and the two electric wires to be connected are inserted into the welder by sandwiching the welding material, and when the end parts of both electric wires are welded together by heating and melting the welding material by heat of reaction of oxidation- reduction, both electric wires are moved while pressing them toward the welding material together with the molten metal stoppers 34 at heating welding time, and melt of the welding material gerated at heating melting time is stored in a molten metal storage part 35 arranged in the welder, and while externally discharging gas such as simultaneously generating gas and steam through a gas discharge passage arranged in the welder, and the prescribed volume of the molte metal storage part 35 is secured by the molte metal stoppers 34, and heating and melting finish, and a temperature lowers, and when the melt coagulates and starts to contract, the melt stored in the molten metal storage part 35 is poured into this contractive part.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignitor for welding to ignite the thermite mixture capable of suppressing jumping of a covering plug. SOLUTION: An ignitor 20 for welding to ignite the thermite mixture is provided with a bottomed cylindrical body 21 in which the firing agent and the igniting agent are charged, a covering plug to be caulked on an opening side of the cylindrical body, a bridging wire 31 which is fitted to the covering plug and embedded in the igniting agents 23, 24, and a terminal cable to be communicated with the bridge wire 31 through the covering plug. In the cylindrical body 21, a small hole 25 for gas relief is cut in a part to which the igniting agents 23, 24 are charged, and the small hole 25 for gas relief is covered by a closing member which is fractured when the pressure in the beginning of the ignition reaches the specified value below the mechanical bonding between a caulked part 28 and the covering plug of the cylindrical body 21. The small hole for gas relief is cut closer to the firing agent 22 to the bridging wire 31, two kinds of igniting agents 23, 24 are charged therein, and the small hole for gas relief is cut at the position of the igniting agent close to the bridging wire 31. The covering member is a tape.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an equipment for welding by the thermite reaction heat capable of preventing a concave cavity of a weld zone of a connection piece, and facilitating the die opening of a container for the heating agent after the welding. SOLUTION: In a welding method in which non-ferrous materials 9 to be welded are stored in a splittable welding equipment across a welding material 8, and the welding material 8 is heated and melted by the thermite reaction heat, the coating material whose thermal conductivity in the heated and melted condition is >=0.006 cal/sec/cm / deg.C/cm is applied to an inner surface of the splittable welding equipment. The welding equipment comprises a cylindrical container 2 for the heating agent, the heating agent 7 to generate the thermite reaction to be charged in the container 2 for the heating agent, a splittable, cylindrical holding member 3 to be arranged in the container 2 for the heating agent, and a hooking piece 4 to fit the holding member 3, and a coating layer of the coating agent whose thermal conductivity in the heated and melted condition is >=0.006 cal/sec/cm / deg.C/cm is formed on an inner surface of the splittable, cylindrical holding member 3.
