    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dead end clamp which reduces a current flowing in a connection part where resistance failure occurs between the component members of the dead end clamp for electric wires and which enables modification work for suppressing overheat. SOLUTION: A clamp body includes a sleeve-like cylindrical part in which a span side electric wire and a built-in clamp are inserted and compression-connected, and a plate-like connection connected to a jumper socket. The plate-like connection includes a rectangle solid shape having a plate-like electrical contact surface along a plane crossing the span side electric wire and the route of a jumper wire and a plurality of perpendicular side faces. The jumper socket includes a compression-connected part with the jumper wire, and a recessed connection having a recessed electrical contact surface that clamps and connects the plate-like electrical contact surface of the plate-like connection of the clamp body from both sides and a plurality of perpendicular side faces. In addition to a first conductive path in which the plate-like electrical contact surface of the clamp body and the recessed electrical contact surface of the jumper socket are connected, a second conductive path is provided that connects the clamp body and the jumper socket electrically at the connection part other than the plate-like and recessed electrical contact surfaces.
