    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slip-on pipe joint which can absorb compression allowances for expansions thereof, without causing any plastic deformation in a pipe or in a joint and any separation of anticorrosion protection layer on the exterior of the pipe in case of pipe elongation due to an effect of an earthquake or a heat. SOLUTION: A absorbing member 5 for compression allowances comprising of a compression coil and a coned disc spring or the like is put on between a mouth 7 and a pipe end stopper section 8 in the joint main body 1. When a compression load is imposed on the absorbing member 5 for compression allowances because of linear expansion of the end section of a pipe P due to the effect of the earthquake or the heat, then the absorbing member 5 for compression allowances is compressed and the compression allowances are absorbed. Therefore, the plastic deformation, in which the diameter of the end section of the pipe P is reduced or the diameter of the joint main body 1 is enlarged, can be prevented, and the separation of the anticorrosion protection layer P2 can be avoided.

    • PURPOSE:To enable the easy measurement of insulation and resistance after piping without harming anticorrosive performance by forming a corrosion protected layer of a cylinder body made of synthetic resin and providing sealing members to be adhered to outer face covering steel pipes in the state of the cylinder body being slidable between the mounted position covering the residual screw part of the outer face covering steel pipe and the receding position exposing the residual screw part. CONSTITUTION:A corrosion protected layer is formed of a lining layer 25 adhered to the center part of the outer face of a joint main body 20 and a pair of cylinder bodies 26, 27, sealing members 34, 35 are adhered to outer face covering steel pipes 100, 100 so as to maintain sealing performance and isolate the joint main body from outside water to maintain perfect anticorrosion. In measuring the insulation and resistance of an anticorrosion insulating joint A, the female screw part 31 of the cylinder body 27 on one side is separated from the male screw part 29 of the lining layer 25, and the cylinder body 27 is slided to be shifted into a receding position, so that the outer face of the joint main body 20 and the residual screw part 102 of the outer face covering steel pipe 100 are exposed, enabling the measurement of insulation and insulation resistance value.

    • PURPOSE:To measure a true resistance of a insulation coupling by providing a insulation layer to two connection ends of the insulation coupling respectively and connecting an electrode of an resistance detecting device with the surfaces of the insulation coupling and a pipe body. CONSTITUTION:One side of the electrode of a resistance measuring device is connected with the surface of the insulation coupling A, the other side of the electrode is connected with one side of the pipe body of the insulation coupling A, for instance the surface of a lead-in pipe 131, then a prescribed voltage is impressed. An actually measured resistance R in such a way, is a true resistance R1 wherein the insulation layer 5 of the insulation coupling A is equipped therewith. That is, the influences of an earth resistance R4 of a branch pipe 130, the earth resistance R3 of a lead-in pipe 131 and the earth resistance R2 of a water pipe 141 contacting with an indoor piping 134, are cut off by the insulation layer 4, these influence are not affect to the actually measured resistance R. In the same way, the actually measured resistance R' which is measured impressing the voltage to the surfaces of the insulation coupling A and the indoor piping 134, is the true resistance R1, wherein the insulation layer 4 of the insulation coupling A is equipped therewith. The influences of the earth resistance R4 of the branch pipe 130, the earth resistance R3 of the lead-in pipe 131 and the earth resistance R2 of the water pipe 141, are cut off by the insulation layer 5, these influences are not affect to the actually measured resistance R'.
