摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resinous tube which is fusible without producing any fusing defect by an electric fusing cap when an existing embedded gas pipe end is treated. SOLUTION: This side of the joint 5 of a spigot pipe section 3 of an electric fusion saddle 2 on the pipe 1 is cut, and the cut pipe end 3b of the residual part 3a of the spigot pipe section 3 is subjected to the pipe end treatment for closing it by the electric fusing cap 8. In this time, if the swallowed length F of the socket 9 of the electric fusion cap 8 is longer than the length E of the residual length 3a of the spigot pipe section 3, the swallowed length becomes short to cause a fusion defect. Hence, an extension collar 10 to compensate shortage of the swallowed length is interposed between the cut pipe end 3b and the depth of the socket 9. In this way, the shortage of the swallowed length can be compensated by interposition of the extension collar 10 and the pipe end can be appropriately fused without fusing defect.

The connection part 12 comprises a tapered first slide surface 21, a cylindrical second slide surface 31 and a working part 40. A slip check ring 60 is fitted onto a resin-made sleeve 10 inserted to the connection part 12. The first slide surface 21 has the function of contracting the diameter of the ring 60 and the function of guiding the ring 60 to the second slide surface 31 side. The working part 40 exhibits the slip check effect.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a riser pipe for gas piping, preventing leakage of a gas by using the property of a shape memorizing alloy, even if the riser resin pipe in a protecting pipe is melted and softened if a fire occurs. SOLUTION: The lower end of a metal pipe 4 to be connected to a gas meter 2 on a ground is connected to the upper end of the riser resin pipe 7 of a thermoplastic resin to be connected to an underground embedded resin pipe 5 via a riser pipe joint 1. The riser resin pipe 7 is erected from the underground onto the ground and the outer face of the riser resin pipe 7 erected on the ground is covered with the protecting pipe 8. A tightening member 43 of a shape memory alloy in which the shape of the riser resin pipe 7 is memorized to be drawn thinner until the riser resin pipe 7 is blocked is mounted on the outer face of the riser resin pipe 7 covered with the protecting pipe 8. If a fire occurs, the protecting pipe 8 is heated to cause the riser resin pipe 7 to be melted and softened and the tightening member 43 to be restored to the memorized shape, which induces the riser resin pipe 7 to be drawn thinner and blocked so that, the leakage of a gas from the riser resin pipe 7 is prevented.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve watertight reliability and connecting reliability by providing a chevron shaped protrusions on three positions per equal angle of a circumferential direction of a cylindrical part inserted into an end part of a resin pipe, and positioning the cylindrical part inserted into the end part of the resin pipe to the end part of the resin pipe while abutting at least one of protrusions to the inner circumferential surface of the resin pipe. SOLUTION: A stiffener 10 for reinforcing an end part of a resin pipe is integratedly injection-molded by synthetic resin, and is integratedly provided with a cylindrical part 11, three protrusions provided in a condition protruded from an outer peripheral surface 12 of the cylindrical part 11, and a flange part 16 disposed on one end part of the cylindrical part 11. Each protrusion 13 to 15 are provided in a condition disposed in a circumferential direction on three positions per equal angle of the circumferential direction at a position near the flange part 16. When the cylindrical part 11 of the stiffener 10 is inserted into the resin pipe, the protrusions 13 to 15 which are brought into pressure contact with an inner circumferential surface of the end part of the resin pipe are engaged with the inner circumferential surface of the end part of the resin pipe. Accordingly, the cylindrical part 11 is positioned on the end part of the resin pipe by the protrusions 13 to 15 so as to prevent the stiffener 10 from slipping off from the resin pipe.
