    • PURPOSE:To extend the service life of an integrated type submerged tube by forming a partition parting an uptake part for sucking up molten metal and a downtake part for returning back molten metal as fittable/removable. CONSTITUTION:At first, the partition 26 is lifted a little and a core material 27 in the partition is separated from a core material 24 at outer circumferential part to release engagement of the both. Patching plates 40 on a supporting rod 41 are separated from both faces of the partition 26 and the partition 26 is pushed downward with a pushing rod 43, shifted along a guide groove, pushed out downward and dropped. The pushing rod 43 is saved upward and the fresh partition 26 is lifted under condition of supported with the supporting rod 41 and both the side parts of the partition is inserted into the guide groove and further, this is lifted. At the time of lifting the partition 26 to the prescribed level, the core material 27 is inserted into the core material 24 and the partition 26 is fixed to the outer circumferential part 22. By descending the pushing rod 43, a patching plate 42 is abutted on a brick 28 at the uppermost step in the partition. In such way, as the partition can easily be exchanged to the fresh one by removing only the old one, exchanging time of the whole submerged tube can be extended until the other members of outer circumferential part, etc., in the submerged tube are damaged.

    • PURPOSE:To safely and quickly execute exchange of reflactories in a degassing vessel by blowing gas containing O2 as essential component to solidified metal stuck to refractories at the inner wall in the degassing vessel from which treated molten metal is diascharged within the specific time after discharging the molten metal. CONSTITUTION:By sucking up the molten metal, for example, in RH degassing vessel 10, the degassing treatment is executed. In accordance with repeating the treatment at plural times, the bricks forming the inner wall in the vessel 10 suffer errosion, detachment, etc., and the exchange of working bricks becomes necessary. Further, the solidified metal 24 is stuck to the surface of the working brick during treating and in accordance with repeating the treatment at plural times, this is developed as shelf state, and at the time of repairing, it is necessary to remove this. Therefore, the molten metal after treating is discharged to out of the vessel 10, and before the temp. in the vessel is lowered, within 12hr after that, a pipe 30 for blowing the gas is inserted into the vessel 10 and the gas containing O2 as the essential component is blown to the solidified metal 24, and after melting and removing the molten metal 24, the refractories are exchanged.
