摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the damaging balance of bedded refractory and prolong the service life of a degassing vessel by piling up the height of the refractory lining on the bedding center part between two circulating tubes and at the neiborhood thereof in a vacuum degassing vessel higher than the height of the surrounding part. CONSTITUTION:The height level 15 of the refractory lining 25 on the bedding center part 24 between the mutual circulating tubes, by which the molten steel 12 is sucked up into the vessel 22 from a molten steel container 11 through one side of the circulating tube 3 and degassed and the molten steel in the vessel is returned back from the other side of the circulating tube 3, and at the neighborhood thereof, is higher than the height level 14 of the refractory lining of the bedding surrounding part 27 by 30-130mm. Further, the bedding center part piling up the refractory lining is the range corresponding to 50-250% of the inner diameter of the tube in the direction crossed at the right angle to the arrangement of the circulating tubes as the intermediate point of the mutual circulating tubes is the center.

摘要： PURPOSE: To effectively adhere refractory to repair by allowing the repairing refractory in a projecting tube to project toward the position required to be repaired by the pressure of compressed air from a compressed air supply source connected to the tube. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for projecting to repair comprises a projecting tube 1, a refractory charging mechanism 2 for charging a predetermined quantity of repairing refractory in the tube 1, and a compressed air supply source 4 connected to the tube 1 via a hose 3. The tube 1 and the mechanism 2 are installed on a table 5. The table 5 is so pivotally secured by a shaft 9 as to rotate the tube 1 on a rotary table 8 rotatably supported to the upper end of the strut 7 of a base 6 in the elevating direction, and elevated by a tilting cylinder 10. Thus, the direction of the tube 1 is arbitrarily selected and the projection is conducted by the pressure to repair the position to be repaired even if the position is at a high place or a remote distance.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the clogging of a cast nozzle in continuous casting of an SiMn deoxidized steel and at the same time, to prevent the defect caused by inclusion in the steel material. CONSTITUTION:In the molten SiMn deoxidized steel being practically unnecessary to have aluminum content, the molten steel having >=1 Mn/Si content ratio in the molten steel compositions is stirred with oxidizing slag or that added with iron oxide. By this method, a part of each of Mn and Si in the molten steel is oxidized and combined with floated Al2O3. Then after forming the inclusion to the low m.p. composition of SiO2-MnO-Al2O3 series, immediately the casting is executed. 摘要： PURPOSE:To extend the service life of an integrated type submerged tube by forming a partition parting an uptake part for sucking up molten metal and a downtake part for returning back molten metal as fittable/removable. CONSTITUTION:At first, the partition 26 is lifted a little and a core material 27 in the partition is separated from a core material 24 at outer circumferential part to release engagement of the both. Patching plates 40 on a supporting rod 41 are separated from both faces of the partition 26 and the partition 26 is pushed downward with a pushing rod 43, shifted along a guide groove, pushed out downward and dropped. The pushing rod 43 is saved upward and the fresh partition 26 is lifted under condition of supported with the supporting rod 41 and both the side parts of the partition is inserted into the guide groove and further, this is lifted. At the time of lifting the partition 26 to the prescribed level, the core material 27 is inserted into the core material 24 and the partition 26 is fixed to the outer circumferential part 22. By descending the pushing rod 43, a patching plate 42 is abutted on a brick 28 at the uppermost step in the partition. In such way, as the partition can easily be exchanged to the fresh one by removing only the old one, exchanging time of the whole submerged tube can be extended until the other members of outer circumferential part, etc., in the submerged tube are damaged.
