    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To homogeneously mix waste plastics different in specific gravity and supply the mixture to a gravity separation apparatus. SOLUTION: This mixing apparatus is equipped with a circular cylindrical mixing vessel 1, a stirrer having a stirrer blade 6, and a material supply duct 9 for supplying a material as the object of separation to a gravity separation apparatus. The water level H has a height of 90-150% of the diameter D of the mixing vessel. The stirrer blade 6, which rotates in the clockwise direction, is installed at a position deviating from the center 1b to the peripheral side by 10-40% of the diameter D and at a height of 20-50% of the water level H from the bottom. A material charge position 8 is arranged at a position apart from an eddy generation place (an eddy enter) 7 by an angle of 45-180 degrees in the direction of rotation of the eddy (the clockwise direction). The material supply duct 9 is installed at a position apart from the eddy generation place (the eddy center) 7 by an angle of 225-330 degrees and at a height of 15-50% of the water level H from the bottom.     • PURPOSE:To reduce the number of crushers and simplify small-size pipes in a refuse pneumatic conveying system for a high-rise or medium-rise building by having dust chutes and chute pipes, which are provided for every story block, shared in a storing and discharging means and a crusher so that all crushed refuse can be conveyed by a common pneumatic conveying means. CONSTITUTION:Refuse which is put into an input port 1a is temporarily stored in a dust chute 2a and a temporarily storing section 7a, and stored in a storing and discharging device 10a via a discharge valve 8a and a chute pipe 9A. Refuse in a dust chute 2b is also stored in the storing and discharging device 10a. Both are entered into a storing and discharging device 10b and combined with refuse in a dust chute 2c, and then crushed by a crusher 3a and sent to a separator 5 through a small-size conveying pipe 4a for pneumatic conveying. Dust chutes 2d, 2e are likewise handled in another system. In this way, the number of crushers can be reduced and small-size pipe systems can be simplified.

    • PURPOSE:To exactly weigh the quantity of refuse of every throw-in port, while executing continuously suction and collection of refuse by setting each different collection time zone at every throw-in port of a duct line collecting equipment and controlling the opening/closing of an exhaust valve. CONSTITUTION:In a weighing equipment used for a refuse duct line collecting equipment, an arithmetic means 14a sets a collection time zone at every throw-in port so that refuse thrown into each throw-in port 1a - 1c reaches a refuse collecting place in time zones being different from each other at every throw-in port, based on information related to positions of the throw-in ports 1a - 1c and a transport speed of refuse given in advance. An exhaust valve control means 14b controls the opening/closing of exhaust valves 5a - 5c so as to correspond to the collection time zone set by the arithmetic means 14a. The refuse collected to the refuse collecting place is weighed by a weighing means 16 at every throw-in port. Also, in order to shorten the operation time of the duct line collecting equipment, intermittence of refuse collected to the refuse collecting place is detected by a detecting means 17, and based on a signal from the detecting means 17, the collection time zone set by the arithmetic means 14a is adjusted by an adjusting means 14c.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To significantly reduce the pressure loss in garbage transportation by setting the inside diameter of the trunk line of a pneumatic transport pipe so as to be increased from a primary collecting center to a secondary center. SOLUTION: The trunk line of a secondary transport pipe 30 is formed of a plurality of different diameter pipes set to substantially the same piping plate thickness so that the inside diameter of the trunk line is increased toward a secondary collecting center 4. For example, a first transport pipe 30a of 500 A size is used from the terminal side to about 1Km, a second transport pipe 30b of 550A size to 1.8Km from it, and a third transport pipe 30c thereafter. The transporting wind velocity near the secondary collecting center 4 is minimized, compared with the operation under the same operating condition as in a conventional coincident diameter pipe line. Therefore, even when a long transport distance causes a reduction in pneumatic pressure in transportation, extreme increase in transporting wind velocity near the secondary collecting center 4 can be suppressed to significantly reduce the pressure loss.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve sanitation in a market and make effective use of energy by air-transporting refuse thrown into refuse throw-in equipment installed in a plurality of places in a market, and using heat energy, generated at the time of incinerating the collected refuse, as a power source of a refrigerator for a refrigerating storage in the market. SOLUTION: In each first throw-in equipment 1, when an operation button even in one place is pressed, a blower 12, discharge equipment 5 and a crusher 3 are operated to start collecting refuse. The refuse thrown into a throw-in port 2 is crushed, continuously fed to a branch transport pipe 4, air-transported by air flow generated by the blower 12 and dropped to be stored in a vacuum storage drum 13 through a main transport pipe 8 and a separator 11. When the refuse storage quantity reaches the appropriate quantity, an incinerator 15 is started, and the stored refuse is carried to the incinerator 15 by a feeder 14 and incinerated. Separating air in the separator 11 is compressed by the blower 12 and fed as combustion air to the incinerator 15. Heat energy generated at the time of incineration is recovered as steam by a steam generating device 16 and used as a power source of a refrigerator 18 for a refrigerating storage in a market.
