    • PURPOSE:To prevent broken flaws based on buckling and to reduce adherence flaws by providing an auxiliary roller in contact with the external circumferential surface of a strip on the side of the progressive direction of the strip from a separation line in the width direction occurring at a place where the rewound strip is separated from a coil. CONSTITUTION:When the strip 11 is pulled out of the coil 10 and rewound on a tension bridle roll 110, a frame 40 stands up vertically and both rolls 20, 30 do not come into contact with the strip 11. Thereafter, the frame 40 is titled by a tilting cylinder 42 to the side of the coil 10 and the auxiliary roller 20 presses the external circumferential surface of the coil 10 from a separation line X' in the width direction of the coil 10 in the progressive direction of the strip 10 along this separation line X'.
