摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating method of a sintering machine by which the amount of sintering exhaust gas needing a dioxin-removing treatment is reduced thereby the cost of a dioxin-removing treating facility can be reduced. SOLUTION: In an ironworks having two sintering machines 1, 2, chlorine- containing miscellaneous raw materials causing the development of the dioxins when used in the sintering machines 1, 2, are distributed to the sintering machine 1 in a concentrated manner, of which the sintering exhaust gas amount is relatively little, and are not distributed to the sintering machine 2, of which the sintering exhaust gas amount is relatively much. Since the chlorine-containing miscellaneous raw materials are not distributed to the sintering machine 2, the concentration of the dioxins in the sintering exhaust gas in the sintering machine 2 becomes lower than the reducing target value. Since the dioxin- removing facility is needed only to the sintering machine 1 to which the miscellaneous raw materials are distributed in a concentrated manner, the treating gas amount can be reduced.

When about 10-10,000ppm complexing agent and a pH buffer having the buffer range of pH5-12 are added to the plating bath, the excessive rise of the pH of the bath is inhibited and the rate of codeposition of silicate salt in the plating film can be regulated to the above- mentioned range.
