摘要： PURPOSE:To perform the built-in of a shearing unit by a proper blade gap distance in a short time by operating both cutter and spacer thickness values, selecting and setting the applying cutter and spacer, and constituting both upper and lower cutters and the spacer to be built in the shearing unit on the basis of these values. CONSTITUTION:Information on base plate width, product plate thickness, plate thickness and steel type is inputted into a computing element by a schedule controlling computer. A blade lap-gap value on the basis of plate thickness and steel type of a workpiece necessary for a shearing unit by a round cutter is determined, and thickness of the round cutter being prepared and thickness of a spacer are all measured in total and stored in the computing element in advance, so that when the information is inputted, both the gap and lap values are calculated, and successively the cutter thickness value and the spacer thickness value are operated and thereby the applying cutter and spacer plus the arrangement are all selected and determined. Then, a optimum combination of the cutter and the spacer is selected, and this information is displayed on a monitor, and on the basis of this information, the cutter and spacer are built in an arbor shaft. After the built-in, the lap value is set by movement of both upper and lower arbor shafts.

摘要： PURPOSE:To make automatic cutter-set work for a slitter performable by installing a storer housing a lot of spacers and cutters in close proximity to a slitter arbor shaft, and a conveyor whose tip makes these spacers and cutters detachable and being self-propellable, respectively. CONSTITUTION:In this device, there are provided with a storer 1 housing a spacer-cutter 12, and a conveyor 2 equipped with an automatic setter 4 for the spacer-cutter 12, in parallel with a slitter stand 3 and, between both, being self-propellable parallelly with both and, what is more, being rotable at 180 degrees on the upper part. With this formation, the whole arrangement of a cutter-set is determined, and when the information is given to the device, the automatic setter 4 is moved to a position where the spacer or the cutter of each object number is possible to be taken out at the storer 1, and after the spacer or the cutter is taken out of this storer 1, the conveyor 2 moves the spacer or the cutter to a setting position of an arbor shaft 6 of the slitter stand 3 by means of the travel rotation control. With this constitution, slitter cutter-set work can be does automatically.
