CONSTITUTION:This water-permeable cement pavement composition is formed by incorporating an expansive admixture and a methylcellulose-based or acrylic admixture into a mixture of a colored water-granulated slag and cement. In this case, 100 pts.wt. of the slag is mixed with 15-30 pts.wt. of the cement and 5-10 pts.wt. of the expansive admixture (e.g. based on lime, hauynite etc.), and 0.05-0.2 pts.wt. of the methylcellulose-based or acrylic admixture is added to 100 pts.wt. of mixing water.

The zirconia material is compounded with castable refractories of the above-mentioned lance 1 so as to contain 30-67% ZrO2. Zirconia, zircon, etc., are used for the zirconia material. The generation of the erosion, crack, etc., in the above-mentioned castable refractories 11 by slag is prevented in this way and the life of the immersion type lance 1 is drastically prolonged.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of erosion, cracks, etc., and to extend the life of the stirrer for pretreatment of a molten iron by incorporating a specific ratio of ZrO2 into the castable refractories which consist essentially of SiO2 and contain SiC for said stirrer. CONSTITUTION:The pretreatment such as desulfurizing or dephosphorizing of the molten iron is executed by stirring the molten iron by the stirrer 1 which consists of refractory vanes 5 stuck to the front end of a revolving shaft 2. The vanes 5 of the above-mentioned stirrer 1 are constituted of the castable refractories formed by using the SiO2 as the essential component and incorporating about 1-20% SiC therein. Further, a zirconia material is compounded with the castable refractories to incorporate 40-67% ZrO2 therein. The generation of the erosion, crack, etc., in the above-mentioned vanes 5 by slag is effectively prevented in this way and the life of the stirrer 1 is drastically extended.

Rotating expansion/ contracting quantity of the magnifying lens 15 at this time is converted to direct-reading numeric value by an encoder 18 and it is displayed on the monitor TV 20 and recorded in a first recorder 31. In this way, the distance between the measuring instrument 1 and inner wall, that is, the wearing quantity of inner wall, of roughened-state, can be caught by the numerical value.
