    • PURPOSE:To conduct recording at high-speed and in high-density, by forming an ink layer containing a subliming dye on an image receiving layer formed on a substrate sheet. CONSTITUTION:As a substrate sheet 1, the material is selected from polyester, polyolefine, polycarbonate, polystyrene, and the like. An image receiving layer 2 is composed of an easily-dyeable material as a main component and a resin of high solution parameter and low softening point. An ink layer 3, laminated on the image-receiving point. An ink layer 3, laminated on the image-receiving layer 2, is composed of a subliming dye and a binder. As the subliming dye, a disperse dye of nitro, azo, quinoline, or anthraquinone series etc. subliming at a temperature of 60-300 deg.C is used. As the binder, a synthetic or natural resin is used. A heat-resistant layer 4 laminated on the ink layer 3 is required to have the heat-resistance to the heat from an outer heat source, the non-fusible characteristics to a thermal head, and the non-permeability to dye. Therefore, the material having release properties and lubricating properties as well as no affinity to dye, is preferably used for the heat-resistant layer 4.

    • PURPOSE:To shorten a printing time for one line and delete a generation of a deep rib by dividing plural thermal member dots into an odd number and an even number of first block and second block and dividing strobe pulses into a first and a second pulses in which a phase is reverse to each other and supplying to the respective blocks. CONSTITUTION:After previously heated, subsequently the printing corresponding to a level data signal LD11 is performed by strobe signals SS1, SS2. At this time, in SS1 and SS2, signals having phases reverse to each other are applied, so that bits D1, D3, D5, D7, D9 belonging to a block B1 and bits D2, D4, D6, D8, D10 belonging to a block B2 are alternately driven. Accordingly, paying attention to a specific dot, for instance, D3, a total sum of an energizing time in this period becomes 1/2 of t1 and is insufficient for the time t1 required for obtaining the density corresponding to the level data signal LD11. Since during SS1 being '0', and D3 being not energized, SS2 goes to '1', D2 and D4 adjacent thereto are energized, and by adjacent effect, a section of D3 is also heated, the same printing density as energizing continuously for a time of t1 can be obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To achieve the prevention of color slippage, by a method wherein the back surface of recording material is coated with adhesives and the recording material is preliminarily jointed to the counter sheet to be jointed with the recording material before printing. CONSTITUTION:The adhesive to be preliminarily coated to a recording material are heat sensitive adhesives and fused at a temperature lower than the tempera ture at which sublimate die sublimates. For example, low molecular weight polyester or the like are use therefore. Because a thermal head 6 is stained with ink, the protection layer of a high heat conductivity is provided on an ink layer 2. The ink layer 2 or the protection layer 3 is inserted between the thermal head 6 and a platen roll 7 in the direction contacting the thermal head and printing is carried out. When a picture and others has been preliminarily recorded on the counter sheet 5 to be jointed to and the locational conformance to the picture to be printed is required, the locational conformance shall be carried out before printing. Therefore, the picture to be printed is formed at a position accurate for the picture on the base and the slippage of color does never occurs.

    • PURPOSE:To provide heat sensitive transfer printed images with projected lines which give three dimensional appearance, by using a heat foaming image receiving sheet in recording by heat sensitive transfer printing according to electrical image signals. CONSTITUTION:A heat foaming image receiving sheet consisting of a thermoplastic resin (e.g. nylon) which contains a heat sensitive foaming agent (e.g. azobis-isobutylonitrile) and an ink sheet prepared by forming a thermotransferable ink layer on a supporting sheet (e.g. polyester sheet) are laid one on top of the other and are fed between thermal head and platen roll to perform heat sensitive transfer printing on the thermal head according to image signals.
